I've seen plusses and minuses for fasting My weight is stable and fasting doesn't appeal at all

I am glad you don't need to, some of us it's what we found that works

Achieved broadly by permanent change, incremental improvements, a healthier diet, eating less without being hungry

For me it's winter I comfort eat. This year managed better but still put a bit on. From experience this works for me and in about 6 weeks should be ok

I do fasting for a few months and when I do I become more alert , loss weight and feel more energised Couldn't agree more! I'm on what I hope will be just a two week diet to lose 3-4kg back to my preferred weight. I alternate between not eating one day and a day eating a very restricted low carb diet. Works perfectly for me

Lol.
You'd be convinced if you needed to lose weight and tried it but you don't need to!

Lol. You'd be convinced if you needed to lose weight and tried it but you don't need to! When I was 15.5 stone I needed to lose weight Took many years to find the right approach More fruit and veg. No rubbish, which does me in anyway

3.6kg lost last week on diet, feeling much better. I will try and lose another 1.75kg to reach my 79kg target.

I eat between 11am-5pm everyday (18 hour fast) My weight is the same as it was when I was 18 years old. 68 years old and feel great!

I don't think there's a hope I'm going back to my teenage weight of 67kg!

I remember being "stuck' on 10.5 stones for so many years. I'm more than happy to be aiming for under 80kg now.

I'm 145lbs = 65kg 5'- 8"
Can do 80 chinups (1 set without stopping), 100 pushups (1 set without stopping) Not bad for this old fart!
