I think it makes logical sense, since the Weiliang with its lower current capability is working within its limits running the router while the Zero Zone is more butch and has better regulation to run the current hungry EtherREGEN. Moving the 6D power cable to the ZZ makes sense, too.
I have spare Coherent DC cables, let me get them to you next time we meet.

PSU Update
ZZ supplying power to EtherRegen for about 5 hours now
Case is cold-ambient. The Weiliang would be hot radiator temp by now
Weiliang supplying power to router is warm, much as it used to be when supplying power to the adaptor that was pushed to one side by the EtherRegen
System is sounding wonderful
How important is a power supply ?!
How good is that Zero Zone ?

Been, oh must be minutes since the last upgrade My DHL delivery today is now plugged in and sounding rather fine From cold. 'Louder', mid range especially, even more bass, touch more width, back ground brought forward and made clearer, 'slower' MartinT made me do it Mad Scientist Black Magic Ultra USB cable |

Knew instantly there was an improvement
Now I have metal bits on my Ugreen internet cables I can use a croc clip from a QA Premium grounding box

Croc clip moved from lighting circuit to router Ugreen cable
Nice improvement again

Friday's try out QA Premium Grounding box croc clipped to the earth block coming into the house. 1 of 3 so spare ish. Worth a try on the EtherRegen This morning did not go according to plan to put it mildly so comparison now is QA disconnected Mavis doing her thing QA croc clipped to SFP on the EtherRegen Small step up for sure QA standing without and footer or support and not weighted That to come ...... Need to source the widest possible opening for croc clips, much like these  |

Think I'm off the beaten track as I'm now working my way through the alphabet with artists I know and albums I don't as well as artists I put to one side to investigate 'later'
Most of the albums from artists I know are at least good, or better
Many of the artists I don't know that well are good if I'm lucky but they range from not for me to awful
Delighted to see Qobuz had Holy Fuck with material I've never heard - great
Emboldened I searched for Trans Am, much the same vein, much better known I think

Never heard of Trans Am but just looked on Tidal and they have 12 albums plus an ep.Guess it is just luck .

In preparation of my next move I turned off the PSU supplying the router and plugged in the SMPS.
Not a big deal.
Rebooted tablet just in case
Music
Except for the sound break up, terrible glitching
Reboot Rendu, tablet again
Same
Laptop and Amazon firestick working fine
Are my issues to do with the mains power to the router ?

Mike I know this has been a long standing issue so my commiserations . What router are you using ? What is the power requirements both voltage and Amps . I have a Virgin Router and that needs 12v 3Amp but it seems to have a real surge when first switched on so that can and has caught out LPSU connected and it just not really switch on . Once the surge has passed there is not a great deal of current demand but it is getting over that hump . As I have a very strong phobia over SMPS in the shape of cheap wallwarts being in my system I have found a 12 V 5 Amp LPSU that should be stiff enough to cope with the switch on rush . It arrives next week so we will see what happens .

Leaving it alone can allow it to rectify itself
Go back to the CD album playlist is fine
Try the same thing twice, or more and get a different result
What else could it be - a disturbance in The Force ?
