A thought I had a couple of years back For anyone relatively new to music or thinking of expanding their collection of physical music Go streaming
Since I started on the streaming path... For those with a collection of physical media who are still finding new music and buying physical media Go streaming
So often those incredibly rare albums, singles or EPs are on Qobuz (even) Cost and time to buy - expensive. Streaming is cost effective, especially if you buy vinyl
My listening habits are changing and evolving since being focussed on CD
Efficiency, time saving and laziness are well served by streaming
A week with no streaming problems now I shall try the phone again and hopefully be able to use it from time to time

Just one proviso, Mike. You and I have a top-ranking streamer, good DACs and pretty stonking systems to back it up. Streaming should not be seen as an inexpensive solution as it isn't.
So many times I see on Facebook that people have 'tried streaming' and gone back to media as it sounds flat/dull/lifeless etc. Plumbing a £400 streamer into an existing system is going to sound rubbish. Yes, that's what cheap streaming sounds like.
As long as we promote streaming as a high-end replacement for media, then I think we will win more people over.

I'm mostly taken by the huge amount of music on offer although I'm sure I would tire of a naff sound
Surely a fair streamer in a fair system could do a fair job ?

Surely a fair streamer in a fair system could do a fair job ? I'm sure it would be a fair performance, but that's not nearly good enough. I didn't switch to streaming to go backwards.

Should be, but isn't for me. And once you get into hi-res, there's no competition.

Wow. Playing New York Rock Ensemble - Roll Over Quality is appalling. Just checking it on headphones at work. Gravedigger doesn't sound terrible?

Vol 1 and 2 CDs £50. MP3 (!) £10 Some great tracks Keep finding more, interrupting myself again and again

That's the beauty of the virtually infinite collection.
I have discovered loads of artists connected in one way or another to ones I like.

When you do a search in Bubble, try selecting 'Similar artists'. You get a whole bunch of associations with some real hidden gems.

Search on an artist doesn't give me 'Similar'
I get Current folder Artists Tracks title Tracks Artist Playlists

I search for an Artist, in this case Kimbra. Select her. Now I get the first screen. Select Similar Artists and I get the second screen.

Ah I need to select Artists not Albums artist and then click on the artist Thanks
Need to click around more now I'm fairly confident I won't break it

I always click Artists before I click either Albums or Similar Artists.
Force of habit determined by the way I search.

An answer ?
Noticed the adaptor for the Rendu was upside down when looking at the input end Easy fix there Turned it over End of track music stops Surely not Fiddle around - no music Leave it and come back to fiddle some more Ok I'll turn it upside down again Music
Tried again this afternoon Working upside down
Turned over - no music Turned back upside down - music
More likely to be a cable than the adaptor Recommendations for a lead to go from router to adaptor ? RJ45 I think

Umm, your Rendu takes optical input only.
What adapter?
Only you can take a working system and make it not work...

The Adaptor between the router and the Rendu
What is the most likely to be the problem Power cable to the adaptor Cable from router to adaptor Adaptor itself Cisco cable to Rendu - green light at the back was on BTW
