Find the best router of the ones you have and stick to it. You're not going to get better until something changes, like a new mast going up.

Choice of two directions Current is East with aerial. That is usually better than West, the one I used until a year back The old number/router usually out performs the new number/on any router Apart from these blips the new router has given what I need Amazon Firestick performs fine as do my laptops Madam has problems with her iPad

No turning back from streaming
The amount of music available is too much to consider buying on CD
Now on the second listen of favourite artists whose albums I don't have on CD A different world. Had to find my way of entering it
Last night I swapped the adaptor. No glitches, stops or glitches yet Far too early to draw conclusions, hopeful

No turning back from streaming The attraction of almost-infinite-library is so compelling. I can chase many rabbits down holes, rather than worry about what media to buy next. Different world.

I barely ever listen to CD’s anymore, I’m even considering storing them away to reduce clutter.

I started from the albums not available to stream that I had on CD Therefore streaming is not so clever - I thought Worked all the albums there are, then multiplied that a few times to, not quite infinity while playing around with Q Discovered there are albums on Q I've never heard of and some/a lot of them can't be bought on CD anyway It is literally more music
I've gone off tangents off other tangents listening to one artist than another, taking me where my fancy goes
Then there is the time saved going through my process to sample and source CDs. Life's too short.
The hardware/software issues will be sorted after I pay my dues

No glitches, stoppages or weirdness since Tuesday 16th when I swapped the adaptor. Seems that was the fault Digits crossed

Anyone else have the dream where you are in your own house and you keep discovering more and more rooms you didn't know you had ?
Nice metaphor for Streaming

I fear for my power or internet connection tonight, with that wind raging outside.
Must put another track on, quick!

There’s our power gone now. Let’s hope the UPS battery lasts a while so we have broadband.

The power went down in the UK just after midnight for me too. The networks stayed up and running as did the security system and the logs suggest that it was only out for a few minutes at most. The cameras record sound as well and it certainly sounded impressive. Just breezy here in Germany though although we may pick up the tail of it later.

I had my UPS buzz twice as the power glitched momentarily, but it held out until I went to bed.
Impressively loud last night, too.

Very near the south coast here, Was windy but no power outages..
We get several such storms a year. Old hands at battening down the hatches.
