When I said volume I meant check that you hadn't inadvertently turned down the Bubble volume below 100. It can happen if you accidentally lean against the tablet button for a few secs. Caused me a few issues once, that did! You can disable that. Settings / Control / untick Volume keys, exit/ kill and restart. Sometimes it shows a bar that you can volume key up and down, but has no effect on 100% volume. Sometimes no bar etc appears. Can't work that one out😂 |

Yes, thanks, I've since worked that out and disabled my volume too. Mine just shows volume 100 which means no tampering with the incoming stream into the DAC.

Sadly, I've not found a way. There is a contact e-mail in the Play Store Bubble app entry, you could ask the designer?
What does happen, though, is that my list of searches is building up and previous searches for the same artist appear instantly.

Killers - All these things that I've done
was handy and used
A few swaps between CD and Rendu on Qobuz
Verdict ?
Very close. Maybe the CD takes it by a very short nose
So far as new to me music goes streaming is fine which is quite useful as the CD album playlist is running out soon.
Stopped buying CDs a year ago
Mad Scientist has yet to be painted on the connectors on Rendu and adaptor
Cheapo adaptor is nowhere near the ultimate box
Adaptor not grounded either
A few steps to go
Reminds me of a few years back when I started with CD and comparisons to LP
LP all the way initially. CD was convenient but mostly used at work

CD is easy to use plus normality for me
Pitch black early morning and more suited to playing CDs

Bent CD finished playing early this morning. So early it was dark
Remembering Qobuz has extra tracks not on the CD I dared to fire up Qobuz
Great tracks I'm not sure you can even buy on CD
Having Bubble on a black screen was good, no bright screen
Later on I was about to play the CD of Gerry Rafferty's On a Wing and a Prayer
His previous album North and South seemed a good move, rare and expensive on CD or LP
Qobuz has it, listening now
I shall be looking for more rarities and mixing streaming with CD

Qobuz keeps surprising me with more catalogue all the time, it becomes infectious.

Pushing myself further after struggling putting Bubble onto my phone I have taken a step forward
I may use the phone for streaming a lot more as slightly easier than the tablet. Both Android.
As the CD playlist reduces in the kitchen I will be looking at Qobuz and the phone playing into the Bluetooth adaptor on that system

Playing King Crimson - Lizard a couple of days ago, streaming today
(Not A / B tested, clinically trialled and peer reviewed I confess)

Make sure you go into the Qobuz renderer settings and choose highest resolution FLAC 24/192.
