Elan 2? Looks more like yet another dull hatch/SUV creation. What on earth has happened to car styling of late?

Ferrari in the hands of Le Clech was fast enough in all stages. Porpoising was pretty bad, but their car works anyway.
RB frailty be thy name. 46 points clear of Max.
Interesting that the Max - 'I'll cruise up alongside at SC restart' tactic was specifically banned.
Track suited McLaren and Merc better. That Merc can't design a car in this day and age, with all the resources and number crunching they have, that doesn't porpoise, is a bit amazing in really.
Alex A spoke well in the post race interview I thought. Good effort dragging a Williams to 10th.

Wasnt a bad albert park race, abit of action here and there It is i leclerc just buggered off, neither rb had any answer
Interesting that hamiltons car had 1.5kg of extra sensors on it so they got some more data, presumably the telemetry from that box of tricks was monitoring the floor in some way. Maybe some pitot tubes or something in the tunnels to try and get a handle on what the car floor is actually doing
The daft wind tunnel speed rule limiting the max speed they can test at to 180kph (about 112mph) is probably the reason people have been caught out, that probably just over half of what the cars do flat out. God knows what the air mass in there is when flat out compared to that speed, and how much flow the tunnels can take before they cant compress the air any more and stall the airflow
how russell has ended up second in the standings and merc are second in the constructors standings with that rubbish car should be a rather large red flag to rb
Albon pulling off the almost impossible was the highlight for me. Deserves his seat, stroll not so much today, getting argy bargy wasnt really on. Racing point need to tie stroll senior up and lock him in a cupboard so they can get on with the job of making that very pretty shitbox into a decent car without him sticking his oar in
Verstappen dnf again was yet another warning to rbpt to give their heads a rattle, sainz dropped a right clanger too, just had to wait for the tyre warm up and he could have blasted past everyone. A silly error
But overall a relatively decent race for albert park

Relatively interesting sprint race for once Ferrari and red bull fairly evenly matched, the merc continues to be a dog. They have somehow made it even worse. Haas and alfa looking sharp, alpine (if it doesnt blow up again) and mclaren looking good too.
Lewis looked all at sea, george looked barely able to get that awful car to do anything. An absolute rolling travesty of a car, they havent a clue what to do with it
Nice to see seb get something at least reasonable out of the racing point after the catastophuk that was Australia.
Hopefully leclerc can get as good a start tomorrow and do verstappen again, id like to see that ferrari on the top step at the end of the season so every point counts

Boring again. No drs, prcatically impossible to pass without a big performance advantage. Drs active, just end up with a drs train. Again. Only but of interest came from a leclerc balls up.
Hamilton seemingly cant be arsed any more, looked a right charlie in p13 when russell put the same car in p4. No excuse for that performace, utterly mediocre which i never thought id say about hamilton. so did ricciardo sat right at the back when norris is on the podium
Im getting rapidly more bored with this season

I watched the highlights. Sad that Sainz got punted off when he needs a couple of good races under his belt. Leclerc made a bit of a blunder.
The motion of the cars looks horrible, all bouncy with seemingly no ability to absorb bumps at all. Driving them must be sickness inducing.

I didn't see the qualy live but great to see Sainz up there with Leclerc as he needed a break. The Mercedes fortunes reversed with Hamilton getting the slightly better setup and Russell the donkey. Clearly that car is another level above prima donna. Look at Bottas placing just above Hamilton!

A bit of a meh race, to be honest. The Miami track doesn't really look prepared enough. Annoying that Leclerc couldn't hold the lead. Mercedes screwed up Hamilton's strategy but Russell did very well to climb to 5th.

I dont think they screwed up his strategy to be honest, he was on the same one as those around him George just got lucky with the safety car again, allowing him to change onto the mediums under the safety car Sat behind lewis on new mediums it was inevitable he would go past. Lewis could pit or not pit and either way lost track position to george, although he could have gone after george on the same tyres. The team chose not to bother after he said you tell me when asked, given that there was a risk that a slow stop would have dropped him down the field, so consolidated 5th and 6th. I dont think lewis was about to have a proper scrap with george anyway, no point when the car is a dog and they need every point the team can get. Merc can do without its drivers banging wheels for the sake of abit of pride. Both of them did bottas just after the restart following a small mistake Lewis or george werent about to catch perez so it was the best possible score for them Lewis has had no luck whatsoever this season, george has had plenty. But another processional race that had to be spiced up by a safety car. Did nothing for me. God help merc trying to get that car through eau rouge when spa comes around, that will be a brown trouser corner in that thing

Downforce with porpoising shaking their brains into jelly or less downforce?
