Lewis was quite angry about it in interview afterwards, but took the penalty well, which was good.

Hamilton passed both Norris and Leclerc at the same Copse corner. So I don't know what Horner was winding himself up about Copse in his interviews.

James Allison makes a good case for Hamilton not deserving any penalty for the Verstappen crash.

I hear rumours that Bottas will go to Alfa Romeo if Mercedes decide to partner Hamilton with George Russell.
I wonder if Russell will be expected to support Lewis in the same way Bottas has been doing ?

Perhaps, as he grows his talent. However, Russell will go for it as soon as he feels ready.
I guess Raikkonen will be retiring, then?

I see red bull did not convince the fia to review the 10 second penalty for hamilton from silverstone, and also made some allegations, the details of which have not been revealed. Interesting that the fia has reported this in its statement at all if the allegations were confidential.
This whole saga seems to have gotten nasty

Red Bull, Horner and particularly Marko have an unpleasant and whiny characteristic that turns me off anything they have to say. They have made a meal out of a racing incident, of which there have been far worse incidents in past decades. It's clear to see that there was no malice, just two drivers who wouldn't back down. Just accept that their extreme rivalry may lead to further incidents and leave them to race.

Well to me it was crystal clear, it was a calculated professional foul by Hamilton. It wasn't his corner and he knew by putting himself there if Verstappen didn't back off the likelihood was he might take him, or both of them out. You don't go into Copse alongside believing a collision isn't a very likely outcome, especially on lap 1 - it was a shit or bust move and Hamilton knew exactly what he was doing IMO. A "don't mess with me from now on" statement of intent to Verstappen and he nearly got away with it. A very brave or reckless move depending on your point of view, but I think Max may view Lewis a little differently going forward. Hamilton is many things, but he's a pure racer and he's nobodies fool.
I also don't agree with the stewards decision, it should have been tougher and l feel Bernie Ecclestone's summation of the incident is the correct one.
Now there's a thing, me agreeing with Bernie Ecclestone!

Hungary qualy - Hamilton back on top, Sainz crashes with damage. What a shame the crowd boo'd while he was being interviewed. Enjoy watching a seven-time world champion in action while you still can. Soon he'll have retired and moved on.

Well that was a race and a half What an absolute ballsup by bottas, i think his mercedes seat next year is gone after that absolute shocker Alonso has most definitely still got it, fabulous racing between him and hamilton, brilliant drive from hamilton after that utter cockup of a second start. vettel has still got it too, brilliant from him in dirty air for the whole race in a car not significantly faster than the alpine, and brilliant from ocon. kept his head, didnt bottle it and soaked up every single move from seb.
3 multiple world champions in the top 5, didnt think id see that this year

LH was wasted at the end, you could see it. combination of one heck of a gruelling race and long covid by the looks of things, you could see and almost feel the fatigue, the hard breathing. Covid buggers your lungs so I hope he gets some good rest and rejuvenation over the summer break.

Long COVID seems to be a right bugger to shake off, if it's even possible at the moment. I'm sure he'll be getting the best medical advice but it's a worrying development.

It could shorten his F1 career quite dramatically if he can't retain his fitness.
