Being Ushers, I'll bet they're good.
I'm not swapping for mine, though.

The ML-802 is one gorgeous looking speaker. I do note in top line speakers like these that the tweeter is above a normal siting position. I guess they can be tilted-forward similar to toeing-in. Wave guides help, but they are not totally dialed in. High class problem.

My tweeters are above my ears when at my listening position. They are designed to sound right that way, together with the lean of the baffle, and the beryllium has wide dispersion. Treble quality is outstanding, better than the later DMD version.

Very pretty. Interesting they've moved on from diamond to magnesium for driver material Edit: I see they still have diamond in other models.

Before that was beryllium, which I consider to sound better than diamond (I've heard the DMD version of my speakers).
No idea what magnesium will sound like, but it's all about making the domes thin and strong at reasonable cost. Beryllium does the job but is very difficult to work with.

Yeah, I had diamond mini dancer IIs for a few years, I did like them but prefer the treble of both the Quadral Galan 9s and now Osborn Epitomes.
The finish on the model above looks great.

You're right, everything is managed direct by Greg himself. It's unfortunate because I'm sure this limits people's appetite to try them outside of Australia (which is completely understandable). Sidenote: we've got our flights booked back to the UK for April next year. When we're settled you're welcome to pop over for a session - we want to settle around Sussex. I'm hoping I'll have the grand monuments to show you though
