That would be great!
Do you have any parts of Sussex in mind?
I'm very fond of E.Sussex - as a boy I always spent summers there with grandmother. I still have relatives there so always good to revisit.

First turntable from Fender. Love the suburst finish. Black & Chrome would look better...

There's some dealer who's does Linn and he posted an evening event on YouTube where Linn give an account of their history (according to Linn, that is). No mention whatsoever of any association with Ariston Audio and Hamish.
I remember an article in Hi-Fi Answers where Ivor was presented with about 12 points that readers had tried to improve the performance of the LP12. Can't remember many now but they included a DC motor conversion and rigid coupling of the armboard to the subchassis, oh, and using something different for the armboard. Ivor's stock reply was that you could do things that would alter the sound, to make it different, but there wouldn't be any genuine improvement. Now, depending on your pocket, you can have 3 levels of improvement.

Has it got a 9" thick, chromed unobtanium platter? An anti-skate solution based on the Millennium bridge? An infinite probability drive motor? A Pykrete plinth that is maintained in a vacuum? I thought not. Call that "innovative?" Pathetic. I spit upon your so-called innovations, Linn.

Forgot why I was here: Expensive Wharfedales $10,000! Sounds a bit like an oxymoron. From last year:

Star Trek Picard DiskoTrek Borg Cube Record Player"Okay, we admit it. We went a bit overboard with this one: Star Trek: Picard DiskoTrek Borg Cube Record Player Based on our popular Star Trek: Picard Borg Cube ATX, we created a whole new kind of Home Entertainment System. Only 33 of these Limited Collector's Edition sets will be made. Features: Audio-Technica AT-LP60X Turntable up to 2x125W Class-D Amplifier from Class-D Audio in California optional Bluetooth Vacuum Tube Preamplifier configurable ITX computer Fiber Optic lights and RGB Forcefields comes with two (2) Custom Screen-printed Anti Static Turntable Mats, Blueprint Art Print, packed in a Premium Crate The whole system is fully customizable and, yes, you read that right! It can even have a computer in it. The lovely Dynaudio Contour 1.3 SE are not for sale and are for demonstration purposes only. Due to the complexity of this build, we can only offer this system as fully configured system and not as a case only option. If you currently have an ITX machine and want it transferred please contact us. Please be advised that the "Audio Only" Options can not be retrofitted with an ITX Computer as it comes with a different backplate. Due to the different pre-amps offered, color and knob location might slightly vary. This is a made-to-order build. Currently may have lead times up to 6 weeks. Please contact us if you need it sooner and we will do our best to accommodate you. The Star Trek: Picard DiskoTrek Borg Cube Record Player is proudly made in the USA and hand-crafted by our very own team in Los Angeles, California.

This does look like a quality dongle DAC but $249 / 300E is a hefty price.

Line Magnetic's LM 845 Premiere. Love it. If I had a spare £10,000, I'd have one. Although I'd settle for the 209 I for £5000 or less:

Audio Pro Link 1 looks an option for anyone wanting a cheap network streamer - you get Siri/Alexa integration, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect and AirPlay; no Tidal Connect. £99.

www.audiolab.co.uk/omnia/The Audiolab Omnia 6000; A second system in a box? Not quite, but about 85% of one - just add speakers and speaker cables. For just £0.05 shy of sixteen-hundred of your finest English pounds it might be worth checking out in a situation where space, (or WAF) is a consideration. It's got a built in CD player, and we already klnow that Audiolab transports are good, the DAC is based on a decent enough chip, the ES9038Q2M, and it's got a 50w per channel pre/power setup inside, as well as streaming service support for Amazon Music, Spotify, TIDAL, KKBox, SiriusXM, Napster, Internet Radio, Deezer, iHeartRadio, PANDORA, Qobuz, QQmusic and more. It's even got a MM phono stage. Anyway, read the spec on the link rather than have me babble on about it. I've obviously got no idea what it sounds like, but its got a good pedigree, so it's probably worth a look. Mike, you'lll be pleased to know it comes in silver AND black.

The iconic Mission 770 is back but brought up to date.
Bass down to 30Hz.
The best thing is that they are designed and *built* in the UK! Excellent.
