Try a proper tablet, Steve. It's hard to see what is going on there on the phone.
I click on the Home icon and select Qobuz in Volumio. All search results are then Qobuz albums and tracks.

That's the same on my phone. Home and all I do is within Qobuz. If I swipe down twice (by accident), it chucks me out and I see another view of my note not used playlists. But I go Home and Qobuz again. I'm on a Google Pixel XL. Android 10.

But you're using Volumio? Not the Qobuz app?

But you're using Volumio? Not the Qobuz app? Yes. I'm using Volumio 192.168....etc with the Qobuz icon to access. If I'm not logged into the subscription in Volumio, there's no Qobuz icon to access. I use the app to make and add to playlists. They then appear on Volumio some time later. I removed the drive path to the playlists & tracks that were on the usb stick and this improved things. I was able to search and add songs to the queue and have a nice time listening - what it is all about..

Sorry, Steve, I just can't visualise what is happening with you. Perhaps having the USB drive is changing the way search functions?
I only have Qobuz, Spotify and YouTube enabled with Volumio Virtuoso.
If I search from Home, I get results from all of the above. If I go into Qobuz, I get results only from Qobuz.

Yeah, it seems to have been something with the NAS path.
I'm hoping to enjoy it some more today.
I am finding a few tracks, I can't get but that's too be expected. There will be new ones I'll try out and like no doubt.

I discovered an interesting issue with Qobuz over the weekend. I bought a few albums by Björk through my subscription as they were not available through HighResAudio directly. I used the option to download them as .tar file and expanded it and transferred the files to the server. Now, you can open the files using Audacity and MusicScope and they play through the Unity Atom. However, they ouldl not play on the Mu-So Qb. I edited the metadata and tidied the file names up as they were not quite right and checked settings, firmware etc on the devices (and for any reports of problems) without having any joy. However, I did not until today try them on the main system in the studio though. Today I did and the NXD reported it was unable to play them and skips each track. So, I went back into Qobuz and downloaded the individual tracks in uncompressed form. I copied one of them across and replaced the existing file and it plays perfectly. Again the metadata is a muddle, but a different muddle to last time!
I have never experienced a single issue with HighResAudio themselves and so I will make contact with Qobuz to see what they have to say.

Interesting findings, Pete. Metadata can be a world of pain, as can album artwork!
So glad that I just stream. I can cope with the odd Qobuz 'Frenchiness'.

One more experiment before I contact Qobuz. I hadn't bothered to download their app as I either access Qobuz through the Naim streamers or download files. However, I noticed that it has a download manager built in and seems to do it it track at a time as a 'background' process and files under album folders so that is more convenient. Hopefully they'll also play afterwards!

I'm having problems with Qobuz/ Volumio Laura Marling's new releases. Qobuz within Volumio shows the track Song for our daughter But this is what I get when I try to play it The other tracks below all play fine.. I tried in the app and the song is there, but I just get a swirly that times out and does nothing when trying to play it. Anyone else tried to play this track?

Just seen the whole album is there. Same result if I press the play the whole album triangle. Trying the 2nd track plays it. All the rest give that weird error. Guess they are just not available yet. Why load or rather half load them so that this happens? Very amateur. Spotify handles it correctly btw.

What DNS are you using? Remember my problems with BT DNS and Qobuz? Gives exactly the same issues as you're seeing.
Try adding manual OpenDNS settings to Volumio's DNS area: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

Hmm, forgotten all about that.. what happens if you try to play the seemingly existent / nonexistent Laura album?

speedysteve I agree, Held Down plays ok but no other track. It's clearly an issue with that album.

Yes. Only that track was released at that time. The whole album is released now and it plays correctly. It's release was brought forwards several months Laura said on Instagram.
I think Qobuz just messed up the handling of it.

Did you try using OpenDNS settings in Volumio? I find not only does it fix all problems with decoding the music but that songs tend to start faster, too.

Cancelled after the trial end nears. Summary - Qobuz is good - The app is pretty good, just can use it. Quobuz Studio Premier is good value for the sound at £150 a year, no question. Esp. If I didn't already have Spotify family. The beef - If it was like Spotify and the app could see Volumio as a connect device I might continue, but the web interface tool is too poor for me to persevere with tbh. MyVolumio Virtuoso - To many "why did it do that?" moments. Not joined up in ease of use. 1. If I accidentally swipe up too much it throws me out if Qobuz. And I have to stay over again. 2. If I search play something and go back it doesn't behave as you would expect, have to start over or it chucked out again. 3.Can't add to playlists other than via the app and then they appear some unknown time in the future in MyVolumio. They do appear though. 4. I quite often get a swirly of dots and then Volumio is fine again. Obviously can't do anything whilst the dots are there. The music doesn't break though (never get anything like that with Spotify connect). 5. It presents searches in a very ilogical manner - to me anyway. 6. Can't find all the Swedish stuff I want (that is a Qobuz failing). 7. Stuff that was hi-res the last time I trialled has been downgraded (Qobuz again). 8. The Laura Marling new release debacle🙄 only one track playable, all visible and give unwanted handling in Volumio if attempted. Was like that for days in both app and Volumio. I'm sure there are more things but these are the ones that came to mind. If charging for MyVolumio Virtuoso and Qobuz tbh, I expect better. Overall spoiled by poor Volumio implementation and lack of some music. I'll try Spotify only this evening again. Defend away MartinT 😀

No need. We have different implementations and I find my experience smooth and similar whether using Qobuz or Spotify. I don't use Connect any more.
