Regarding engine suppliers, i think in the coming years F1 will struggle as manufacturers focus and R&D budgets get eaten up by electric motor and battery development, unfortunately the end is neigh for the internal combustion engine, in the past manufacturers used F1 as a development tool, remember the Ford Zetec engine from the Benneton days, that tech eventually made it's way into Fords production cars, but manufacturers see internal combustion as nearing it's end with government legislation only helping to speed this transition more rapidly so they are less likely to invest multiples of millions of £££s into something that can't be turned into profit down the line, a simple but true fact.

Yes, I agree the future will be different. Always hard to predict. I read that Honda had spent $1B on F1 in their latest stint in the sport, manufacturers need to see the link in what they spend on motorsport development to what they sell / recoup, it's a big number so no wonder why we are down to 3 engine suppliers. Formula E on the other hand are tripping over the amount of manufacturers wanting in on the action. I'm not sure of the set up of the different Formula, if they are all owned by the same company or separate companies, but i can see the merging of F1 and FE in the not so distant future.

Some of the F1 hybrid technology has trickled down into road-going hybrids, probably more on the battery, motor and control electronics side. Having owned a hybrid in the past, it's definitely the way internal combustion engines will go in the final phase of their lives where the motor will provide more of the boost and engines may go towards Atkinson or other highly efficient modes.
I can't really see a new manufacturer entering as an F1 supplier, Honda have served to prove just how difficult it is. Red Bull buying the rights and continuing with the Honda design may just be feasible, but I doubt it.

Maybe a goer in F1, who knows
MotoGP has 3 different classes
Moto2 and Moto3 one engine brand for all bikes. Frames etc free for all
MotoGP - different engine manufacturers. One brand of tyre

Not much to say - FP1 and FP2 were washed out by rain. Nico Hulkenberg was parachuted in just for Qualy after Lance Stroll fell sick. Leclerc did fantastically well in the troubled Ferrari.

Not a classic race, but Hamilton once again put pressure on Bottas, who was found wanting (and then eventually had a car problem). Really good to see Ricciardo on the podium and Hulkenberg get some points. Some great driving from Gasly and Leclerc, too.
There was a wonderful moment during the podium interviews where Mick Schumacher presented Hamilton with one of his father's helmets on matching his record 91 Grand Prix wins.

Nice balancing up of the wrong result last time out. Bottas did that all by himself but then the car decided to give Lewis an even bigger points gap.
Ironic that just as Honda quit they start seeing some Win (come second) on Sunday, Sell on Monday, type results.
Lewis unstoppable when meddling overzealous stewards are reigned in.

Lewis unstoppable when meddling overzealous stewards are reigned in. Mind you, they did try. Was that full safety car really necessary when Norris' car was well out of the way?

Another excellent pole from Hamilton, and again under difficult circumstances / pressure. He always seems to thrive under pressure. Bottas has been on top of all sessions. He must think, what more can I do ? Who would want LH as a team mate? .....not me

Excellent job LH-44 and congratulations on a mammoth achievement.
Poor Bottas seemed a bit baffled as to how it turned out as it did....

If only Bottas would on occasion, instead of constantly suggesting that had he done xyz he would have beaten Hamilton, just say "I'm not as good as Lewis, he beat me fair and square", I would have a little more respect for him. He's in good company, along with the rest of the world's population.

Watch Kimi Raikkonen gain an incredible nine places at the race start. This is poetry in motion. He still has the speed!
