That's the beauty of this diet Tim, it still leaves room for the odd 'indulgence' ...

Well for the first time since I started I will admit to struggling with this diet. Not lost any weight in the last few weeks, but not put any on. Psychologically I'm finding it much tougher now on my non-eating days, most likely as I'm not seeing much return like I used to ... Doesn't help that I can't find any coffee I really like to help me through the day ...

Did you not find/like the Colombian you set off to find, Jules?

Yes I found it at our local Martin.
Much better than the Columbian I paid more than twice as much for, but still not quite my taste. At least I will be able to finish the bag though; the other is heading for the bin ...

You could try Taylor's Brasilia, it's a touch sweeter and fruitier.

Well I'm still on my diet!
However, weight loss has been *zero* for a month, just stayed roughly the same weight.
It's like my body has sussed out it is getting less calories now and is making the appropriate adjustments ...
I'm going to stick with it though whilst mainly at home as I would need to take much more exercise when back eating every day, to save putting on weight.

I'm two months into eating plant only based food. Amazing physiological improvements for me.
No going back now.

I go off track occasionally. Working my way slowly through a huge 'Cook' Yule log not used at Christmas Boss's choice not mine. Tastes wonderful. Doing me no good at all I'm sure. Will be gone i the next few days then back to normal Must try soda bread ....

I'm roughly maintaining the weight loss I achieved with the alternate day fasting. I'm still on an 8 hour daily eating window regime and ok with it. Pretty sure my weight would creep back up if I returned to 'full day eating'.

I may not have lost any more weight recently but just got a pair of 32W jeans for first time in 20 years or so ...

I could probably get into a 34 inch waist, but I just keep on using my old 36 inchers plus a well done up belt. I don't want to get too thin - I want a safety margin in case of illness!

Was running low on whole grain flour for my usual 100% sour dough bread. Damn panic buyers..
So used what I had (about half what was needed), the rest I made up with a little rye flour that I had left, some oats, & some walnuts in 2 of the loaves and sunflower seeds in the other 2. Best bread ever was Marie's praise this evening..

I'm two months into eating plant only based food. Amazing physiological improvements for me. No going back now. So here's what I'm experiencing physiologically due to plant based food. 1. Grumbling stiff back, especially in the morning after waking up - gone! I do back care exercises every day to preventt full on lumbago attacks but things have changed massively. I can sleep in any position without pain building and forcing me to move on to side. 2. I can work my body harder without negative impacts. Was up a stepladder wielding a chainsaw (yes, was very careful), for hours over 2 days. Before this would have near crippled me with stiff shoulders and neck giving me full ache tension headaches for a day or two afterwards. 3. No getting up to pee in the night 4. Feel clearer in my head and am sleeping better during the night, so not needing a nap during the day. 5. Arthritis in toe is no longer painful. Range of motion is still reduced, but no shooting pains or having to avoid putting weight on it when walking. 6. After eating I don't feel tired. I can just get up and go. Coughing and throat clearing I was experiencing is gone! 7. Resting pulse now at 48bmp. I feel I have huge reserves of heart capacity for exercise etc. I'm still waiting for my golfers elbow epicondylitis to fully clear up.. it's a very low blood flow area so may take months or never.. some damage is damage! So, what I was eating really didn't suit me. I don't know if it was dairy, or meat, or both. I suspect dairy - I'll never know.. With a BMI of <20 (NHS calculator) it was never about weight loss. I eat loads, have not lost out put on weight.

I've got flour(s), but I can't get any yeast. It in the air, all around you - sourdough it😉 much much better for you! Unlocks all the nutrients and negates the toxins. Modern fast yeasts are dreadful.

With all this time spent inside it will be very easy to put weight on ... I have had a couple of 'mini binges' already!!
