With all this time spent inside it will be very easy to put weight on ... I have had a couple of 'mini binges' already!! Cool. Might even raise my BMI a bit 🙂

Don't know about 'eating healthy'...
Fed up of burning everything.
Whatever goes into the oven has a bit of coming out burnt. Got some meat-free pasties last week. They would have tasted pretty reasonable - if they hadn't been burnt. Cut the top off and still ate them.

I ran out of chocolate today, and we're being quite strict about not going out for individual bits and bobs, so it will have to wait til we need a few more things. But I'm an addict, so I made my own - not bad, but definitely not healthy!

I'm finding it very difficult sticking to diet with family at home in daytime. Actually, impossible.

It's a simple matter of just forgetting, Jerry.
The cooker is about 45 years old and the gas burner could do with a clean out. But I just forget or sometimes nod off.

I can identify with forgetting and nodding off!

I hate running. Always have done and never been any good at it. But I also hate gyms. Yoga, the only exercise I really enjoyed (apart from kick-boxing when young) is off the table for now due to my herniated disc. So I went for the first run in many, many months today, having lost my 8kg in the meantime.
Whilst I didn't do any longer than I used to do (a very short distance!) I certainly found it easier as I only stopped once at half way before crawling back. So all things considering a moderate success. I didn't feel like I was dragging my body around like I used to. Not too many people to avoid on the parkland walk either. Was a good way to deal with the excess toast and Marmite this morning, and an alternative to sitting on the computer for ages getting all chungus with it.
I have had a break from my strict diet the past week but am motivated to get back to it tomorrow.

I loved running but suffered a dodgy knee so tried yoga and cycling Like you not at all keen on gyms Aikido and Tai Chi are both worth looking at if you like kick boxing, Kung Fu even Cycling, cross training and swimming are low to no impact and will be safer than running and worth a punt to protect that herniated disc Fast walking, especially up hills will raise the pulse nicely too

Thanks Mike, yes the fast walking is one thing I have managed but not consistently. I would love to cycle (have two bikes) but too dangerous IMO on London roads and too many hills round here! Never enjoyed swimming which is a shame as I know it would be good for me.

Get a dog that likes to walk fast Hills dead good - go up and down the same ones. Left turns dead easy. Bike onto a static trainer

The static trainer is a genius idea Mike but sadly I literally have nowhere to store one.

I have one that folds up. The road bike clicks into it Will find it soon and bring it back into use - unless ... I make space around the cross trainer

I had a pleasant surprise on the scales this morning.
I have been putting off looking as was convinced I had put on weight but turns out I'm still just under 80kg so no change.
Going to try and go for a run on each of my 'eating' days.
