Grace Jones - My Jamaican Guy 12" Remix off the Private Lives The Compass Point Recordings . Probably one of the best bass players ever . Not sure which remix you were listening to - I tried them all and thought the bass came through best in 'Version': open.qobuz.com/track/11408332

The version I listened to is on the two CD compilation Private Lives - The Compass Point Sessions which has great versions of lots of Grace,s best tunes . I think it was the original 12 inch remix on vinyl but the versions do seem to have been remastered as well so worth seeking out . With regard to Night Clubbing the 2CD version has quite a few remixes and versions and the original has been polished up and sounds very good . Sorry I do not have access to any streaming services only CD,s an Down loads I have ripped and stored on HD.

Thats the one and there are some really good remastered songs on that not to mention a previously unreleased version of Ring of Fire . Great album and shows how good things sounded when recorded at this studio . I have tried for years to get a full list of artists that recorded there as many other albums such as Joe Cocker - Sheffield Steel and others all sound very good .

Well, it certainly has immense impact and some nice bass lines.

I've always thought that "Slave to the Rhythm" (Hot Blooded Version) is one of the best produced 12" singles of all time. It's just mesmerising.

Revisited this one Yes, that's between 10 and 20Hz🙂 Bass you feel rather than hear! Beautifully delicate and subtle track though.

This should meet your original criteria. Bottoms out at around 30Hz. Best played loud🙂 Most off this album hit that spot.

A&W in this album has simply HUGE 32Hz bass waves. Besides that, it's also a superbly crafted and totally unique song.

I didn't think a track could load around 30Hz more than her, Dark But Just A Game, till A&W. Summer Bummer has some nice sustained depth too. Just listened to Joan As Police Woman - Flash. Good reference track as I've listened to it ever since I made the tapped horn subs.. Has excellent depth, quite subtle in places, but also sustained really deep rumble. Record Decks need not apply 😂

Might have put this up before, but 20Hz hits are worthy..

Oh yes, I know the Lizzie McAlpine well. Summer Bummer, too.
I'll listen to Flash as I don't recall that one.
Record decks are hopeless at deep sustained bass, they just do the tuneless thumpy stuff.

Michael Murray - The Ruffatti Organ in Davies Symphony Hall open.qobuz.com/track/161378801At last, this incredible Telarc recording has come to Qobuz. Lovers of powerful organ works (and this Ruffatti is purportedly the most powerful in the world) will enjoy this. Try the Widor Symphony No.6 Adagio, very quiet but there are flickers of low 20s Hz when he hits the big pedals in the second half of the piece.
