Nice. That Shelby Lynne album is a cracker.

This should wrench your gut Martin! Also some nice acoustic guitar.. Don't be fooled by the classical guitar look. This gets my megawatt sub-bass power amp lights up and a boogie-woogie - rare thing that!

Some deep bass here. This track is as disturbing as the album artwork 🙂 Stops short of completely freaking you out though

She's working with her brother again and it sounds like some of The Knife's output.

Nice, I listened to the title track that was not very bassy. The first track is indeed bassy. Will listen to more.. This one has bass at the start only.. that's anything but subtle - bit like Miley in that cover pic😂 Full power 20Hz. open.qobuz.com/track/200804908

"Jelena" by The Gathering (2006)
This bass is so low, there is no audible hint of it coming from the built-in speakers of my monitor. However, on my proper stereo system it vibrates everything.
*Those prone to heart palpitations, be warned as there is also a slightly raspy breathing-type sound with it.

Here's a deep one! Sub 30Hz pulses flat all the way down to 20Hz. Not a sofa shaker like Nurse Droid, or Solen har gått ned, but still.. Update : also the track Stranger. Very deep notes. The last track Clay reaches down to 24Hz peak with lots of energy (lower and higher freqs at little reduced dB either side). Any track from their album Silver Eye lol!

Erm, maybe sometimes there is a case for TOO MUCH of something?

Suitably named🙂 I had the volume up quite a bit due to quiet previous track. Trousers flapped, sofa shook. Hits 21 or 22 Hz flat! 👍

Doomsday is a great song as well as having some stonkingly deep vibes. A great test, just listen to the stability of her voice while the end of the world is happening in the background. Brilliant!

Couldn't resist this one. You won't find her on Qobuz.. Should move your woofers Martin. No comment on the music or the quality of the recording. Sings in both am Swedish and English. Bonus pic.

Too much at this time of night!
The photo in the jumper is better.
The song... well, better not to talk about it.
Have to play it on the big rig tomorrow.

Well being new have come late to this and it is a long thread so not looked at it all . Apologies in advance of this is a repeat . This is a great example of what they mean when they say bass slam . If this is playing the bass should be fast powerful and hit you in the stomach . Grace Jones - My Jamaican Guy 12" Remix off the Private Lives The Compass Point Recordings . Probably one of the best bass players ever .

There are a couple of moments of infra-deep vibes in this one. Can't capture it but sounds in the low 20s. Lana Del Rey - Doin' Time open.qobuz.com/track/64405606
