Had this kit for quite a while, just not had the time up to now to get this done. Have finally made a start though. I'm building these with a few mods, first of which are some very high quality regulated filament supplies- one for each 300b so eight in total, four in each monoblock. These are not part of the standard kit so I need to find room for them. I've heard a similarly modified pair at a previous Owston which was easily the best amp I've heard so far, so if this kit gets anywhere near that I'll be a happy chappie. First job is the filament supplies, got all the components laid out- Getting there- All done- Made a start on populating the chassis with tag strips etc- That's as far as I've got for now, will update the thread as I progress.

How does all that fit in that chassis, or are you using a 2nd one for the PSUs?

Two chassis Martin, they're monoblocks, so four in each chassis. Thinking I can get three mounted inside the front plate if i remove the front plate and use c/sunk screws. There's room for the fourth on the side.
Still have to find room for the delay boards for the HT lol.

Excellent project, Ali. Keep the photo story coming, especially as you're going quite bespoke.

Cheers John. If it sounds anywhere near as good as Ray’s did at Owston I’ll be very happy.
Have bought a pair of Impulse H2 to use with these.

Yes indeed, woofers and mid surrounds were redone a few years ago- a necessity with these. Other than that they are all original and sound great.

The covers have been redone at some point, unfortunately with some cheap nylon stuff. I'm going to renew with some decent quality cloth, might even go for a different colour if I can decide what lol.
