I have the FX Audio DAC-X6 and it's very good for the £70 asking price. Rolling the opamp also makes a marked difference. Don't know if the opamps can be changed in this one. Looks good though.
TBH, though, I've just reintroduced an old friend into my system, the original Rega DAC, and it's in a different league to all the budget DACs I've tried over the last 10 years.

This is the second one I've had John and this one will be staying in the system. Works beautifully with Spotify and the Audiolab 6000CDT.

It might be worth checking this out for a budget DAC this has a good review Best price I can find on AliExpress is £161.36 (inc. postage) and there appears to be a £15.34 coupon to use with that, although I wouldn't swear to it. |

Not a DAC but a USB converter/reclocker. This looks interesting and could be a much lower cost alternative to the Mutec MC-3+ USB. The Gustard U18.  |
