I've always liked Marcos cars The wooden ones ? I prefer plastic myself, in the shape of an original TVR Griffiths, or even a Trident Clipper, both had the 4761cc (289 cu in) American Ford V-8. Scuse me, just thinking about those two beasts has made me mess myself.

I never liked TreVoRs much, all coarse and unreliable. Then again, I don't like Ferraris much - rather like TVRs only better built and far more expensive.
Great on the track, but not a road car for me.

No, I'm not a Ferrari person either. A DB9 maybe ?
I went to a vehicle auction at Duxford last year, and they had a prototype AC Aceca for sale. I did like that. This one had the 4.6 quad cam Ford V-8.

If I had the choice of any car in the world, it would be this one.

Try the mantis for size. I won't pollute this forum with a pic. It would corrupt the software.

That's the only Marcos I've seen and it is gorgeous. I'm not much into cars either.

I wouldn't worry about it. There will always be people whose intellect is so vast that us mere mortals have a bit of bother understanding where they are coming from. They usually clubtogether and laugh at us but do deign to give us the benefit of their wisdom from time to time. well put anyways, I like Aston Martin. I am not a car person. But if someone came up to me and told me I could chose a car (won't happen ), it would most certainly be a Aston Martin.

I'd prefer an 2nd hand M5 and the change in the bank. The V10 version !!!! Dave Nice as they may be, I could not get excited about ANY BMW. An Aston DB9 , Range Rover V-8 or a Bentley maybe. A classic car would be nice. When I took the Volvo for it's MOT last week, the Dad did the test (he's in his 80s) and his son restores Jaguar E-types. Son took me into the workshop and showed me two he was working on, an early flat floor 3.8 and a later 3.8. Absolutely georgeous.

Had a customer last week with a an 06 W12 Bentley, that was nice..........
Was offered a M5 V10 last year for £15K, he couldn't give it away, very tempted but I'm a Mercedes man through and thorough, now if it had been an E55 !!

I'm a Mercedes man through and thorough It's always interesting that there are Mercedes people and BMW people. They each satisfy different needs but both garner great loyalty to the marque.
