More Penderecki, this is becoming a habit. Entertaining.

The Penderecki piano concerto is good, too. Tried some of his smaller scale, chamber music and didn't like it at all; avantgarde eurocrap.

^ A very good pianist. Her Beethoven op 109 sonata (on YouTube) is one of my favourite performances of one of my favourite pieces of music.

Thanks Jerry - I don't think that it will be too much of a chore to investigate further ...

It's a shame she has recorded so little - the op109 you like is one of the few things available on Spoti.

Mmm, yes, I got confused, I meant Spoti. And you should like her, she's a boob waver like KB.

I was looking for a young Russian violinist I heard playing the Beethoven Violin Concerto in the Festival Hall back around 1995 or so. She was good. Can't fully remember her name. I've been through all my Penguin and Gramophone books and drawn a blank. Seems to have disappeared without trace.
I'll keep searching the internet.

No, I did have a look at her but it isn't. I think she was a Tatiana but the memory is exactly what it was 30 years ago. Crap.
