On the router topic I use a usb port to the grounding box and that works well. Good move - that should definitely reach the main PCB ground plane.

I’m impressed by the degree of noise removal using the router grounding method. I’m now eager to do something similar with my 2 switches.

Finally, finally, finally...
Decided to hook up my new streamer. Have had it for over three months. Lots of fiddling about with position, cables, settings.
A couple of hours later, Antipodes K21 is up and running!

Grado RS1 headphones with Custom Cans cable upgrade will arrive soon.
And a Lehmann Linear headphone amp is almost at Lehmann in Germany for their upgrade.

Unless you in a position like Tony who makes cables I don't see the point. Just use Cascade burn in

Took a chance on some Holostages from Heartsound audio I was expecting it to take a while for the nuanced differences to reveal themselves, but it was quite apparent straight away the change in sound scape. I have a decent system, with lots of Tony cables and boxes. It gives a rich textured canvas of sound, but what these little boxes at the back and midway sides have done, the best way I can describe it, is it's like I've turned up a 3D dial in the room. The music is now less coming from the other side of the room, now it feels like it's jumping into and around the room, like the music has been uncoupled from the speakers. I told my partner it feels like I now have a 3D Stereo System. Engagement level with music has taken another leap forward, Maybe others won't get the same effect as their listening space already provides that experience, but for me, in my room, the little boxes are either bringing something new to the table, or are solving some inherent issues with the room acoustics. It's a win for me either way. heartsoundaudio.com/#r4

Some sort of piezoelectric materials that produce an electrical current and emit positive ions when exposed to soundwaves. These positive ions then affect the way the soundwaves interact with the room. That's the blurb anyway here: nirvanasound.com/product/heartsound-holostage/

$999 for 4 plus shipping from the US moomalade do you have a set of 4 ? Bought from the US or UK ? Yes I have a set of 4 2 at the rear behind my listening chair, 2 midway along the room I initially just put the two at the rear, and straight away noticed the sound jump out of the speakers into the room. Then put the two at the sides, which opened things out soundstage wise and sort of completed the circuit. Very laid back music obviously doesn't jump out as much as forthright music but it's just such a pleasure the upgrade in presentation, the way it envelopes me. Feels like the missing ingredient I didn't know I needed. Bought from the US, they actually came over super quick, like 3 days. It is a lot of money but they have a 60 day return policy which swung the deal. They are not going back. Krissy, the lady who developed them is very communitive over email if you wanted to ask her questions about the holostages.

If they were delivered then there will be no customs bill . All customs charges are always collected in advance and before any item is cleared for delivery . What did it say on your invoice ?
