Tweaks abound on the internet. Is sometimes hard to distinguish between worthwhile and of less worth.
Have cables, fuses, chokes, USB to coaxial reclocker, Akiko Triple AC Power Enhancer, Audio Prism Ground Control spades, Purist Audio Design Luminist System Enhancer CD, Marigo Labs Clear Transformation Mat, equipment isolation footers.
Looking at: RCA shorting plugs for inputs on my amp. And Akiko Tuning Caps on amp outputs. Akiko Fuse Box Tuning Chip. Graphene contact enhancer. Even a 7.83Hz Schumann Resonance Resonator.
Has anyone tried/use any of these?
Any other crazy (or slightly less than crazy mods) you've tried, and their effect?

Supports on supports
They all make a difference to my surprise
My Isis CD player sits on Black Ravioli on S1NX Electric Beach platform on RDC 4 cones on Creaktiv rack on special metal feet I need to look up.
The RTZ grounding block was a big surprise and a very nice improvement to sound

If like me, you can't quite reach to a regenerator, it would be worth investing in a good quality 4-6 way power extension, but only for sources and pre amps. Don't use for integrated or power amps. Original Black Ravioli pads and footers are not as good as the latest, but do a fair job for a lot less investment. Good quality rack, I have been amazed by how much this makes a difference. Decent interconnects Decent power cables for your devices

I have very few 'tweaks' as such.
I put dampers on my phono stage tubes, didn't hear a difference but can't be assed to take them off!
I was impressed by the Foculpods I put underneath my tt platform - thought the deck was a little better isolated as a result.

I note MartinT mentions the use of contact enhancer - I rarely see that talked about but I'd have though it might be much more important than many other things including possibly the actual plug. No I don't use it myself.

I use it on the mains plugs/sockets, interconnects and speaker cables once a year. Just a tiny amount, mind.

No I don't use it myself. A word of caution with this stuff - I’ve always used deoxit gold and rate it highly. But - I used it in my valve dac (on the valve pins) and when changing the valves, found that it had boiled (for want of a better word) in the heat and came out of where it was meant to sit. I don’t know if it’s still conductive in this state and never found out thank god, but it was millimeters away from one bit touching the next, which was uncomfortable to see.

It's a contact enhancer and it shouldn't be conductive in itself.
However, I have no valves here. Use with caution.

I've done something dumb (possibly). Bought 2 x 7.83Hz Schumann Resonators.
At £16 each, it's worth a crack.
And if makes me less of a grumpy old man, £30 well spent!

In New Zealand, most of your time is spent reading reviews, ideas, forums, emailing people etc. For instance, there are no quality power sockets available in the NZ market (US = Oxyaide/Duplex etc). I found that out yesterday. I've bought the cheapest Schumann resonators I could! Went for 5v and battery. And if there is an element of health benefit, my wife and her maladies would be most appreciative.

Thanks. I've found some on eBay.
Will be very interested to know your findings when you receive them.

Very interested to hear how this performs.
Let me know if you need stuff shipped to NZ. Most of my Mana went there. Bugger to pack

However, I have no valves here. Use with caution. I'm surprised at that - I always thought the whole idea of it was to aid the conduction from plug to socket, e.g. like this stuff: link - if it's not conductive itself, how does it work ?

It works by cleaning the contacts and keeping them clean over a period of time. I could be wrong, but a lot of cleaners/water dispersants like WD40 don't conduct electricity and I assumed Deoxit was the same.

Effects (according to product info) of 7.83Hz Schumann Resonators: - For audio equipment There is an effect that it neutralises electromagnetic waves generated from audio equipment, and external harmful radio waves. Interference of electromagnetic waves and radio waves disappears. You reproduce music clearer, the S/N ratio is improved, and distortion is reduced. - For Listening room There is an effect that it neutralises harmful standing waves. It improves the viscosity of the air in the listening room. Therefore, the sound improvement is clearly audible, and the depth of the sound image is increased dramatically. As I said, it's worth a shot...
