Sounds like a cheaper version of the acoustic revive 888 with linear psu I’ve got.
Btw Martin - there are two deoxits, if not more. One does clean contacts yes, but the Gold is a contact enhancer, it comes in a much smaller bottle and is a different product.

Fair enough, Martin. I'm using the spray can, which lasts for years.

Akiko Audio items arrived today; Fuse Box Tuning Chip for my power switchboard, and 4 x RCA Tuning Caps Rhodium for my amp outputs. Put them on (got home at 8pm).
The bass was bloated first off. Even my wife noticed.
Been happily listening for an hour. I think it settled over that time. Bass notes are so easy to follow. Better instrument separation as well.
Note, it was not critical listening.
Best track was 'Oh Daddy' by Fleetwood Mac.
Will leave everything running again, and listen again tomorrow night.

Good news. Keep us updated The RTZ grounding box I have is delivering even more with more cables connected. There must be a way of achieving part of that with DIY. Assume it is safe to croc clip various outputs and inputs to a lump of metal

They work well as does a negative ion generator
Personally anything with Rhodium in it I would leave well alone, not a good combination with audio, ask a few on here!

Fuse box tuning chip? Now then, what's that all about?

Personally anything with Rhodium in it I would leave well alone, not a good combination with audio, ask a few on here! I ditched all my power cables with rhodium plugs a good while ago. That edginess makes you think you're getting more, but it's like turning up the sharpness on a TV picture. Once you become aware of it you just want it gone.

Brett, have you received your Schumann resonators yet? Care to say what they do?

Brett, have you received your Schumann resonators yet? Care to say what they do? Aliexpress to NZ is usually 6-8 weeks. So, I just have to be patient. Like with the SEG. It's now in Wellington, but still no delivery. There are advantages to living here (being one of the hardest countries to travel to). I've seen the disadvantages of it too...

I like it much more without them. Thanks for the advice. But have kept the Akiko Fuse Box Tuning Chip on for the power switchboard. I like what it does, especially to the base. Tonight: Nobody's Business by Lou Reed from Coney Island Baby - heard it in a way never before, especially the heavy use of cymbals. Really well presented - even delivery, from treble to bass.

Hah! On balance, I think I'd be happy living in NZ. There and Australia are two countries that impressed me greatly, although I was quite young when I visited Auckland. Australia I know much better and, for me, there is mostly upside in quality of life.

Many years ago I was lucky enough to work on a round the world TV show that went to NZ. The tourist board very kindly provided a V6 Ford for me to whizz up and down the country in to arrange shoots. I will never forget stopping in what felt like the middle of nowhere with a long straight road ahead of me, pushed the Sports mode button, and just floored it. Now that was fun! Naturally I needed to do that a few times. Really enjoyed Auckland and met some very cool people there - was quite cosmopolitan when I visited. We only stayed in the North island but would love to visit the South. Australia is a gaping hole in my travel CV and I would just love to take the family in the next few years if at all possible. Apart from the costs, the main issue is the time you need to do it justice. I would also love to do some diving out there of course.

Brett, have you received your Schumann resonators yet? Care to say what they do? Had one of the Schumann Resonators arrive today. Charged up, and tried it at home. I swear I hear a difference. A little more depth? Can't pinpoint it fully. Will try again... (Bought a real cheap portable one. Charging input has fallen off. Will only get tonight with it).

Brett, have you received your Schumann resonators yet? Care to say what they do? Tried on a bunch of different music. Hard to pinpoint what the difference is. More authority to the music; a tighter grip. A little more depth as well. I'm going to listen a little more to this.

I'm looking forward to both subjective and objective views on The Schumann resonators. An interesting idea...and not much money to try out. But before anyone parts with well-earned cash - I suggest reading this: skeptoid.com/episodes/4352. (Please don't reply with the ' if I can hear a difference that's all that counts' or 'science has been wrong in the past/can't explain everything' etc. I know this isn't AoS. I look forward to having a sensible discussion about something that to all intents and purposes seem like 'foo' dressed in the usual pseudo-scientific jargon. Blind tests anyone?). A pity that the Ebay descriptions are written in such poor English - it doesn't inspire confidence does it? Best Wishes.

I'm looking forward to both subjective and objective views on The Schumann resonators. An interesting idea...and not much money to try out. But before anyone parts with well-earned cash - I suggest reading this: skeptoid.com/episodes/4352. My comments were purely subjective. You have to hope it was more than just me 'wanting' there to be an improvement, as seems to happen with upgrades. I did notice a difference with the Akiko Fuse Box chip. And Stan's Dorado PSU. And SR Red fuse. As for the chokes, had too many upgrades at one time, so these just contributed to part of the whole... Even the Ground Control Spades on my speakers... And the Akiko Triple AC Power Enhancer. Scientifically, some of these are difficult to measure or explain. Voodoo magic? Hoping it's not placebo, but at around £500 max for all these, I consider it money well spent. Have Akiko Universal Tuning Stick coming in. A couple more Shumann Resonators. Also going to trial a Mad Scientist Nitro power cable. When the next Shumann Resonators arrive, will sit down and have a good to listen with/without them.
