I did buy a Denon DSD-500 a couple of weeks ago for £15.
Music at work with an old iPod Classic.

Yep!
I moved the ethernet cable to the right jack, so I could slide the Extreme to the left and give the USB cable more room.
Made everything fit perfectly!

The Innuos Phoenix USB bargain is at Jake's (from Headfi).
Found last two SR Orange fuses for my remaining LPS.
Stack Audio Auva 50 arrived today.
Will get to putting them under my system rack.
A Lumin U1 Mini streamer came up cheaply today. Around £560.
After the Phoenix purchase, the funds have dwindled somewhat.
Also thinking, since I'm wanting a streamer that is a decent step up from my Project Stream Box S2 Ultra, may need to be patient.
So no Lumin Mini...

I’m going to try a couple of DXE Iso Plus Ethernet filters.
Also sorting out Ethernet cables.
Looking to get a couple of Triode Wire Labs Freedom cables. Will make my system end all TWL Freedom.

Once I get something into my head, I find it difficult to ignore.
For example, replacing my streamer, which I've been thinking about for a month.
My current streamer being the 'fabulous for the price' Project Stream Box S2 Ultra.
Actually there is nothing wrong with it.
I've been reading about various streamers.
Wifi, not wifi, bluetooth or not, SSD slots, various digital outputs, screen, internal Dac. A plethora of options.
A number of possibilities at my price range.
Lumin, Auralic, Eversolo, Innuos, Sonore.
But the units I was looking at are comparable or close to the Project S2.
Really looking for my last streamer; that big step up (but not crazy money).
I had an opportunity to buy an Auralic Aries G1, and a Lumin U1 Mini at good prices.
But not quite the step I'm looking for.
More I was veering towards an Innuos Pulse, Sonore Signature SE, Lumin U2, Auralic type move.
But darn, those are quite costly.
I've been offered an Antipodes K21 at a very decent price.
Has all I'm looking for:
Stand alone streamer
USB out
Internal SSD for server duties
Roon capable (will continue to use an Intel Nuc as Roon Core)
Internal power supply
Upgradeable
Excellent support
This is way above what I was looking at.
And will take some time to pay for.
I do like that it's made less than an hour away.
Has anyone had experience with Antipodes?

I'm wondering about the efficacy of ethernet over power.
Especially compared to a wifi extender, and ethernet cable off that.
I would imagine it would inject noise.

Much less so, but be advised that these plug-ins use SMPS so there will be some noise pushed back into the power lines.

Getting in a Synergistic Research Purple Fuse to try in my Firebird LPS (powers my Silent Switch and Fiber Box). Not really sure I will hear an audible improvement but I am willing to try it!  |

Yes or, as I do, optical from an EtherREGEN. That gives isolation from noise.
