Its because I have mixer type on Hardware.

Ok, I have Mixer Type set as none so there is no tampering with the volume curve as there is no volume control (hard coded as 100%).
I use my DAC remote for volume control.

I thought I recognised most of those fixes.
I just checked that 2.714 can be seen despite my previous update having failed. Ok, here we go...
Nope. Restarted and still on 2.692.

All configured and up and running.
Got caught out by the useless BT DNS servers again. If you're on BT (in my case, mobile) and you're using Qobuz, stop tearing your hair out and enable the custom DNS setting, using OpenDNS or another decent service. Works perfectly, no more errors on playback.

N.B. A linter (see Fix #1) is a tool that programmatically scans your code with the goal of finding issues that can lead to bugs or inconsistencies with code health and style. Some of them even fix errors they find. As no explanation is given of what "Linting Fixes" are, that's what I'm assuming it means.

I've never heard of linting. I wonder if it fixes over the air updates?

So, anyway, what was it that you were doing wrong all this time?

So, anyway, what was it that you were doing wrong all this time? Damned if I know. I tried OTA updates every time, only to watch them fail. This time it worked. Nothing different. They must have fixed the problem, either intentionally without admitting it or using that automated system that spots bugs.
