Watch also that you lose your customisations in config.txt and have to redo them.

Big update today to v2.411. Go to System | Check updates. Has anyone else noticed that it won't stick? I've applied the update twice now, goes all the way to finalising it and wanting a restart. Afterwards, I'm still on the March version with the old version number. However, the config.txt file is reverted to stock.

I'll leave it for now as it's sounding great. Guess I'll have to reimage the SD card sometime.
Worth checking on the Volumio forum, too.

Michelangelo has suggested I perform a Delete User Data and try again. I'll do that tomorrow. It seems that customisations can upset the Volumio update process.

I've just read your post on the Volumio forum. I wonder if it is that volspotconnect that's causing your problem, bearing in mind that I've made the same edits (and more) to config.txt as you. I'd be tempted to try the update with your config.txt edits but before adding the Spotify plug.

That was my thought, too. If necessary I'll uninstall the volspotconnect plug-in and try again, reinstalling it afterwards.

Did you lose your config.txt edits after the update, Paul?

Did you lose your config.txt edits after the update, Paul? Yes, I did. I keep a copy though, so it was just a matter of opening config.txt in WinSCP and doing a complete copy & paste followed by a save.

Me too, but using Metro PuTTY. It's not the end of the world as I keep a text file of the changes and copy/paste them in.
Will attempt to upgrade tonight.

Tried deleting user data, then deleted volspotconnect plug-in, then performed a factory reset. It would not update. Ended up with an unresponsive Pi. Re-imaged the SD card Just putting it back together now, didn't take long. All is well again. Helps that I don't have any files to re-index.
