A seamless update for me, as it should be.

I'm just burning the SD card, putting my config.txt on it and my Spotify index.js file...

Spotify Connect in the new build of Volumio is v0.9.1, which has the next track fix.

I'm up to 2.565. Didn't take too long.

Weirdly my Spotify connect plugin volume won't retain it's volume setting (100%) anymore? I set it to 100. Save it. It says saved but use and looking shows it is back to default 30% everytime. This is after weeks of it being fine..
No version changes of Volumio / Spotify / Spotify plugin.
Only a minor inconvenience, but rather odd..

Very odd. Rebooted the Pi?

The now visible / s Working Spotify in Volumio has not solved the recent always returning to 30% volume in Spotify connect problem..

I've just checked and my plug-in slider saved at 100% even through a Pi restart.
You are saving the settings?

I thought I'd try YouTube. Installed the plugin. Did the linking thing. Can see YouTube in my Google list. Can see YouTube in Volumio but get When run. After that message goes away it's blank afterwards. Tried a Restart - made no difference. More time needed?

That happened to me first time out, Steve. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly how I fixed it. I think it was a case of "if at first, you don't succeed..." No, not "give up" keep trying. Seriously, I think it was just down to removing the plugin and reinstalling it. I may be wrong though, there's a first time for everything I usually am.

Thanks, still not working. Par for the course.
Spotify continually disappears from Volumio (as reported above). Sometimes switching accounts (lucky I have two) sorts it. Spotify connect via phone app always works, no matter what, so I'm not too concerned.. it's just the flakiness that irks a little bit. Still free is free.

Go into Network, scroll down to DNS and manually add the two Google DNS addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
YouTube, being owned by Google, works much better with their own DNS.
Volumio has worked better for me since.

Volumio has worked better for me since. I take it I change to custom DNS on and Primary is 8.8.8.8 and secondary is 8.8.4.4? So far no improvement but I'll give it a restart and some time..

Tried an uninstall and after a couple of rounds it worked. Thanks!
Spotify in Volumio is still awol. Swapping accounts didn't bring it back. Still works via connect/app though.

Back to upsampling on streams: Qobuz does upsample (I'm currently set to 24/192) but Spotify does not (DAC remains at 16/44).
I surmise that built-in streams (Qobuz, Tidal) upsample but plug-ins (Spotify, Radio Paradise) do not.
