The Durufle Requiem is another work in a very similar vein you might like.

Gosh yes, the Faure is a quite stunning work. The Requiems of Durufle, Mozart and Brahms (German) are also well worth exploring.
Oh, and Ligeti but you will probably dislike that one.

Here's a good one, featuring the 2 Cellos lads, Mike.
This young lady's worth a listen (and a look) too; Lindsey Stirling and a bit of Dubstep violin playing. I've got a couple of her albums, but I've been a fans since before she'd even made an album and just did her thing on YouTube.

May offend Sinfonity The Guitar Orchestra does Johann Sebastian Bach ; Toccata & Fugue in Dm It is at least clever. Strange hearing the sounds and watching all those guitarists making it Played and watched our Lindsey at last Slinger Yes Talent and expressive moves even if a bit Ian Anderson So this is dubstep...... Must have that around not knowing what it was called

Sounds a bit too much like Sky to me, and that was indeed offensive.

I always enjoyed Sky. The musicianship was top class, and so it should have been considering who was involved. As well as JW they featured a superb Aussie guitarist, named Kevin Peek on electric. They did devolve into a more "muzak" style after the first two-or-three albums though. I remember buying this, not long before Sky was announced.

I didn't hurl as expected.
It's rather fun and well executed.

EVH's 'Eruption' played on the violin.
Very skilful indeed, some serious technique.

Slightly odd
I think I like it
Not sure why. The dynamics, coming back to the same phrase, pace changes ?

Interesting Mike - personally the repetitive themes in this style of contemporary classical music make me lose the will!
