Required cable arrived. Set up. Not working. Ah. Just realised the DC in and DC out on my Ankaka battery is identical. Never had both disconnected before since new Duh
This is good. Like it. Am I listening to the one track or others too as part of your recommendation ?

Have a go with this Mike - two of Debussy's most famous works, 'La Mer' and 'Prelude a l'apres midi d'un faune'
See what these works conjure up - superb performance and recording from Karajan and Berlin Phil.
There is also some lovely Ravel here.

I think I like it. Keep thinking of black and white films though Sounds great on my system. Is there a lot missing on a budget system ? Need to listen again at least once Boss is out today so I can listen to music

I find the music very evocative Mike, it has a certain nostalgic quality which is why you maybe think of black and white films!

OK Mike, next up is some Stravinsky for you, conducted by the man himself.
First is the Rite of Spring, utterly ground-breaking ... Needs to be played earth-shatteringly loud. Then you can chill out with The Firebird, one of my favourite works.

How can I get the link to work ? Multiple clicks and nothing happens. Have gone out and back in again. Manually typed in and have a different album cover
Rebooting the pc, my next move is a pain for this.
As you were Shift + click works ?!?

Very dynamic. Ostentatious even.
Not offensive and not one for me to listen to again
Find it discordant and over the top - which is odd when I consider albums I love.

OK Mike, next up is some Stravinsky for you, conducted by the man himself. Playing the Rite of Spring now at the required end-of-the-world volume. The 1962 recording is amazingly revealing. This is awesome music, some of the greatest ever written. Stravinsky was an utter genius.

This is awesome music, some of the greatest ever written. Stravinsky was an utter genius. I've been lucky enough to see the ballet performed by The Royal Ballet. You really need to see it sometime Martin if you haven't already - the music is even more special in this context.
