I hadn't realised dairy was causing such devastation in rivers.
Had heard about the odd problem
I quite liked the taste of most cheeses.
Even happier to have moved on now though

I was with him right until he described the taste of cheese as just "grease on the tongue". No. Good cheese is one of the most wonderful tastes available to the palate. Hehe, if milk is filtered cow somatic cells what is cheese? 🙂 |

I had the most amazing vegan carrot cake from a local cafe yesterday - I will definitely try more of their vegan cakes. Really took me by surprise as previous sweet vegan fare I have tried wasn't good.

Vegan being fashionable has made a lot look at how they can make it - and make money from it !
If non vegans like it then great
Daughter in law bakes a lot and made some very nice vegan cake for Christmas

Plant Pioneers Shroomdogs are wonderful faux sausages mostly made from mushrooms. I struggle with the idea of highly unhealthy sausages and the eating of pigs so the Shroomdogs are a great alternative - they are barely any different from the real thing. Wheat / gluten based sausages aren't as good, try the Plant Pioneers.

My son won't be having any of it though - I tried to trick him once before with supposedly excellent plant based burgers but his vegan radar is far too sophisticated!!

So many you are spoilt for choice brian2957Lincolnshire style is our favourite Cauldron perhaps the best and a good supplier Richmond, frozen or fridged a close second. Frys have very nice sausage rolls from Tesco. All their stuff is excellent. Must have sausages available. Linda McCartney range good Tesco Herbies pretty good As with all they may be right next to meat versions so look carefully |

We tried the Richmond frozen sausages yesterday in a sausage casserole Mike. I quite liked them but rest of the family weren't fussed on them. They're not vegetarian though, I am I bought Linda McCartney burgers a couple of years ago and didn't really like them. I haven't tried and of the rest and will give them a go. Thanks Mike |

LM sausages better than their burgers, not as good as the other sausages for me though
