I'm using a £50 pair from Japan and TBH I'm astonished. It's my first time using them and I'm more than happy with the outlay.
Any additional thoughts would be most welcome.

TAKET
1. Slightly more shimmer to brush work on some of my Jazz records. 2. Piano's seem to have a little more solidity. 3. Bass seems a little deeper and extended. 4. A little more realis.

Nope , this has been my first experiment in this area too Andy and I've been well pleased with the result . Apparently you can use more than one pair of these in your system and I may go down that road .

Connect them up the same way and put them in a different position , probably above and to the side of the originals .
Mr wonkycustard on here has his firing backwards away from his listening position and it works for him ( I think )

Yes I been thinking of getting another pair Steve electricbeach showed me if you put them in different positions how they alter the sound you here I am sure the big Supertweeetrs by Taket must be very good but its a big price difference www.taket.jp/batpure/batpure.html6moons.com/audioreviews/taket/2.htmlIt seems this work really well with wideband speakers so explains why they help in my system

I think you could mount them on something like a picture frame to good effect . The only problem would be hiding the wires . Unfortunately , as ever , the proof is in the listening . I really need to get another pair of these to have a play with

Having recommended these Taket Batpure to both John and Wonky I'm pleased to hear of their continued interest and that of others. I've been playing with them for more than a year now, tried everything from mounting away from the speaker to actually inside the cabinet, multiples, etc - far too many hours! They are a tool, which I consider have a unique set of properties, and it depends what you want to achieve with them. I've used them in a couple of different speaker designs and for different purposes; I'll post my experiences this evening and dig out a couple of illustrative photos.

Nice work Brian, these look very interesting!
Not knowing anything about them, does anyone know if they would be suitable to use with Tannoys?

Brian - is making the boxes for these easy enough for a total DIY simpleton like me??

Hah ! You're talking to another DIY ''clanger '' mate so yes The other way is to buy a solid piece of wood , drill 2 holes where required and mount the TAKETS to that . They have double sided tape on the back . Anyone tried any other method of attaching these ? Two things to remember Julian . These things are tiny ( around 30mm x 12mm ) so can really be mounted anywhere . Secondly , be careful if you're soldering wires to them .

I am glad that Steve recommended these as the performance increas for £50 is staggering.
