Personally, I would try them first without the boxes to see if you like them, and then build them into the boxes if you decide they are keepers.

That's the plan Kevin... given what I've read here, I'll have a play with their position before deciding on how/what to fit them too...

My two pairs of Batpures are still doing good things to my speakers. To be honest, I can't see myself ever not using them with my Mirages - I don't see any downsides. When I've tidied up my mounting arrangement, I'll post some images - they do look good.

As with all shiny black things, they're a bugger to photograph. Especially in this light and in a hurry! This is the front. There is another at the back and they are both aligned so as to be at the same height as the speakers own tweeters.

A picture tells a thousand words. Now I see what all the acrylic bending was for.

As way of an update, my Batpure Super Tweeters arrived from Japan earlier in the week, so tonight it was time to get creative using some of the suggestions provided earlier in this thread and using the additional materials sourced from eBay below: 2 x small wooden boxes 2 x 4mm binding postsThe super tweeter and terminal posts are wired internally using Belden 9497 and the same cable links the rear of the box with the +/- on my AN-E's... as for how they sound, it early days...

Very creative! Worth putting a little damping in there (yes, I know it's a tweeter and there is no rear-firing).

I think I would put something heavy in the boxes just for the sake of stability and keeping it in one place.

Many thanks for the comments chaps... I should've added that each box has four small rubber feet and they seem to keep them sat perfectly in position

forgive me if it's already covered somewhere in this post, but I don't get how the addition of the supertweeters affects the net resistance of the speakers.
In my simple physics I was taught that resistances in parallel reduce the net resistance, and in series, increase it.
These supertweeters seem to be in parallel to the main speaker, so isn't there a danger of upsetting the power amp ?

I should imagine they are very high impedance across most of the frequency spectrum, so the amp would hardly be aware of their presence.
8 ohms in parallel with a large resistor will amount to 8 ohms!
