New addition for when I daren't wear my main watch. Very clever design that uses a capacitor and a solar panel, which is rated to last over 30yrs, will find a replacement capacitor and sorted!

Had this now for nearly 40 years. Still runs like new.

Lovely watch still looks modern now in a timeless way if that makes sense. Would like one of the old top Seikos truly bomb proof.

Put a nice big ClarityCap in there... Yeah well it doesn't have a backlight so need the extra "clarity".

Does anyone know how to set the alarm on a g shock? For some reason this one is set for 1145am and I can't figure out how to change it. Far too complicated to set g shocks.

Traser - (Read in the dark)
Had it 8 years now, and I don't think I have ever changed the Bat.
Recommended.
Would love to post a load of pics - but unlike HFS's simple upload attatchment (pics) format ------- TAS is a bloody nightmare. And I cant be arsed with the rigmarole...

We don't have direct image uploads because we would have to pay for the filespace and this isn't a commercial forum.
There is help on posting images in the How To section.

The one on the left is identical to Martins on the first post but in white/gold (still the essential VHP version though). And on the right a 286gm stainless surfers watch. Yes they are that different in size ! Or to put it another way, the Nixon is simply massively huge !

Can't find the 665i or the U series, can you give us link. They seem to do a GPS one too but can't find it.
A great new discovery !

The Nixon is too, so if you smash onto a surfboard the knobs are better protected
