To clarify and avoid confusion, this is who you should be sending your first CD to. ChrisB >>>> jandl100 (Jerry) jandl100 (Jerry) >>>> John John >>> Martin T MartinT >>> Mr Whippy Mr Whippy >>> pjdowns pjdowns >>> ChrisB As this is the first cycle, it may also be worth us listing down the CD you have bought to avoid confusion around who has bought which CD. Therefore, if you could let me know what CD (Artist, Album Title) you have purchased for the scheme and I shall produce a list and put on this thread, thanks For clarification as I'm not sure I have been up to now - there should only be a requirement for you to send CD's to the next person on the list, you don't need to send to each individual. For example: I will send my CD to ChrisB. I will then send the CD I have received from Mr Whippy to ChrisB. I will then send the CD I have received from Mr Whippy which was received from MartinT to ChrisB. And so on. Hope this helps if that all becomes too complicated, at a later stage I might offer to receive all of the CDs and then distribute them out to the members of the scheme, but lets try it this way first.

Why not compile the list later when people have received the discs?

Surely you have your headphone system, Tim? I can't imagine you with no music at all?! It's quite depressing Martin, feels like a part of me is missing. I do have about 50% of my music on my phone and listen with a pair of Sennhieser headphones, but I really need speakers. It's just not conducive to the environment I'm living in to do anything else. I love going on trips in my car, that's wonderful, but it's short term, hopefully I'll be sorted soon. Looking at motorhomes right now at the NEC, I fancy a year of traveling around Europe and I'll have music in there

Ok, for everyone on the scheme, once you have sent your CD, please let me know what it is via PM (Artist and Album Title) and I will comply a list once we have confirmed the CDs have arrived. Another thing I thought might be a nice twist, is if we each wrote and review of the CDs, pass them to me and then publish on the forum for others to see - is this overkill? or do we think it's a good idea?

The TAS SS. A nice uniform for members could be commissioned.

A review is mandatory! Perhaps the first recipient of each album should start a unique thread dedicated to the album and when the next person receives it, they can add their thoughts?

I know what you mean, Tim. For me, music has a visceral element which you don't get with headphones and I would miss it pretty quickly. What am I saying? I am going to miss it (doubt I'll have my system setup before a couple of weeks)!

You must be going round the twist with no music Tim! You got that right. I also don't really know what's going on musically, my routine is right out of kilter - dreadful state of affairs I'm going to the movies a lot to compensate, got an Unlimited Cineworld card. As I'm officially retired now, I have time to spare.
