I have BR Pads under my SGS boxes, so that will follow when the big box arrives.
Jules - as far as I can understand, the boxes need to be left alone to settle and gain their effect of 'sucking' noise from the line. The moment you disturb them or give them a shake, they reset and take a while to come on song again. So in that context placing them on isolating feet makes sense.

How on 'earth' could that make a difference to a wooden box full of inert bits and pieces? No idea Worth a punt though

FedEx says that my big grounding box, the Silent Point, has cleared customs and should arrive today.

I'm going to play with the SGS green & white cables and the Aucharm cable to find out which one works best.

I found that ment the next day but hopefully different for you

Meanwhile...
I'm trying the Aucharm grounding cable for a bit. It's not bad - not bad at all. It gives the green SGS cable a run for its money.

There is a superficial goodness to the Aucharm cable that had me convinced, until I began to notice a sheen to the music. Going back to the SGS green eliminated the brightness without losing the dark background.

I've said it before, this digital playback lark comprises endless surprises. Make no assumptions - test every tweak, then go back on it to be certain that it's an improvement.
I swear there are more complex interactions than with analogue playback.

The Silent Point grounding box has arrived (apparently). I shall get it up and connected when I get home tonight.

Last night I did quite a lot of listening with the Silent Point in place at the consumer unit as shown above. I then added the Aucharm back into duty at the P10 regenerator, using a mains plug to connect it into a spare outlet with an SGS green cable. I want to buy another Aucharm to use with the P3 regenerator but I will have to overcome the lack of outlets as all four are in use. I may have to run the cable into an existing plug.
As John said, it's about the cumulative effect and I remain surprised that the area of greatest improvement is not in spatial depth or ambient cues (as with grounding boxes attached to component ground planes). Judging by last night (and I want to do much more listening), it brings focus and shape to transient percussion and lifts dynamics to another performance level. The effect is vivid and exciting.
More after another listen tonight.

Yes matches my experience when on the amplifier ring main circuit I think the amplifier is just performing better and guess this is happening in your system. I also found this surprising and in my case I had to adjust my system to meet the improved performance from the Temple Monos On my digital spur I get more depth

Hopefully the pair of Quartz Acoustics boxes I have on order will help my power amp further.
It's surprising how reducing ground noise manifests aurally. It's not at all about noise but more about precision, resolution and dynamics.

My thought process is by reducing ground noise it allows the amplifier to perform closer to its potential

Things have moved further tonight. There is even more musical flow and the background ambience is more apparent. Dynamics and vibrancy are superb while micro-detail is everywhere. I played one Ry Cooder song and ended up playing a couple of albums. The same thing has just happened with Dire Straits.
The great news is that this kind of musical uplift can be achieved with inexpensive grounding boxes from China. You won't really know what your system can do until you try it.

Yes the bigger one is better. It took a day for it to fully bed in my system. Glad the experiment worked out for you and had a similar experience.
