You did suggest them years ago and I fully acknowledge that it was excellent advice!

I've written a short review here. Mike, Pete and David, by all means put your own experiences in, too. LOL we both know I can't do that as your moderator colleague will be straight in as its a product I sell. Not if you have been asked to do so. It's in the rules, chief.

I've got the hang of the Podium adjusters now. The speakers are somewhat front heavy on the platforms, so I've unscrewed the front ones anticlockwise until they go loose. That's maximum height at the front. I've then screwed in the rear two until I cannot any more.
Both speakers now rock freely side to side and backwards and forwards without snagging. That means they're floating nicely.

Fantastic, can't stop listening to familiar and unfamiliar music. The sense of vividness is amazing,

I am having the final uber Coherent clock installed in the LKS DAC tomorrow. If you remember, I failed to successfully replace the Crystek 575 clock due to my difficulty with the surface mount pads and inability to get sufficient hot air underneath it. Tony rescued me and put in a temporary - and very good - TXC clock to keep me going. This proved to enhance the sound of the LKS over the original Crystek.
Now things should get even better due to the high stability and precision of the Coherent superclock module. We shall see.

I am listening to Martin system and must admit totally blown away I think last time I was a bit critical I know Martin prefers my honest opinion Today everything just sounds so natural The speakers are digging out bass that I did not know was there. The sound stage is totally immersive Not a hint of harshness and now flows but has lots of attack. I guess I am struck with the effortless nature of it all. A few important system changes since I last visited The Podiums really help with the bass. The new cables has just helped with the harshness I used to experience My only comment to Martin is just enjoy the music as no need for any system upgrades

Thanks for your comments, John. I am really happy with my system. The Coherent clock in the LKS yesterday was the icing on the cake. My plan to reinvest into streaming-only has proved to be the right direction for me. It's very satisfying steering the system to this level of performance.
Yes, I know when to stop. Never say never, Jules, but for the moment I have no more upgrade plans.

Be amusing to go back a couple of years and tell yourself this is your current system

Be amusing to go back a couple of years and tell yourself this is your current system Yes it would! Most of it has happened in the last year.

It sounds like you’ve built an amazing system Martin, now as mentioned, try to resist any tweaking/upgrading

Apart from minor tweaks, I really do plan to leave it alone and enjoy it.
I'm looking forward to the new UI for Volumio coming soon.

You mean, a 'room multiplier' circuit to get that true concert hall acoustic?

Listening last night, the burn-in process still continues! There was more soundstage, more uncanny things going on to extreme left and right making me want to turn my head, a more enveloping and involving experience. Deep bass in the air movement category shows up in more recordings. Everything is more real and less hi-fi than ever. I can't imagine wanting more - I'm just surfing Qobuz playing whatever next comes to mind.

I played Jeff Buckley's Lover, You Should've Come Over yesterday during a lengthy session. A superbly performed song, right from the heart. This is one of those complex mixes that can fall apart, becoming a harsh mess, if all is not working well in your system. I don't think I've ever heard it sound so good, capturing all the emotion and holding it together throughout. It was a good session!
