I'd also offer to help but have to plead incapacity. Might be all fine but something could go part way through. Choice of back, right arm, shoulders, knees even
No.1 Son seems best bet

The custom Townshend Podiums have just arrived this morning at work. Feck me, they're big! I only just got both boxes into the car. I'm off work tomorrow so I shall assess the situation. I may need a large whisky.

They are isolation platforms to support my Usher speakers. They are 160kg each so getting them on the Podiums will be challenging.

Don't you just wish you spent more time thrashing whippets when you were younger!
I know the 'fun' that can had with these, the pair for my Grand Utopia's were entertaining when you came to put them on the Towhshends and they were 280Kg's

The floor is ceramic tiled and the speakers are on washing machine feet. They sound surprisingly good compared with my previous house, which was spikes through the carpet into concrete over an air gap under the house. That was abysmal for overloaded boomy bass.
I expect the Podiums to easily beat the rubber feet so we shall see.

Placing an expensive and heavy item onto a wobbly item is going to be a hoot. I shall say it again, Martin - you need to hire an engine hoist.

I can imagine how big they are, working on what my Townshends are like under the TAD speakers.
To help with the height adjustments on the stands I suggest you stand on the stands before putting the speakers in place. Should be a lot easier than when the speaker weight is on the stands

I've tried every 'thought experiment' on how I'm going to get the speakers onto them and none have convinced me so far.
I have bought some large furniture felt feet. The first thing to do is tilt the speakers and stick the feet on the three brass ferrules underneath where the spikes would normally screw in. That will allow the speakers to slide a bit on the floor and on the Podiums.
I may then be able to move the speakers aside by sliding them, place the Podiums where they need to be, tilt the speakers sideways and 'walk' and slide them on.
That's my best procedure so far!

Good luck with multiple A/B testing Podiums vs washing machine pucks!
Cheers. Bill

I'm looking at this and just smiling and shaking my head.
Good luck, although 3 strong helpers might be more useful. 40kg each, sounds about right.

Try 53kg each (lead shot ballast in the bottom compartments)!

How did you get on, any progress? Could you lift/slide the speakers onto the platforms with a bed sheet, then carefully wiggle the sheet out from under the speakers?
