I am tentatively unlocking this thread, hoping that everyone has had a beer, glass of wine or a coffee, slept well, eaten a good breakfast and generally taken a chill pill. Please read this again before you make any further comment. We don't mind debate but the personal attacks are unacceptable whether to other forum members here or elsewhere, unless stating a fact. By the way, in my opinion Enid Blyton was a class author and gave me many, many hours of enjoyment as a child. She was a person of her generation and should not be judged by today's standards.

I totally agree and I wonder how what we do today will be judged in 50 years. We'll either be viewed as too heartless or too soft....it's hard to to which, it depends how the mass migration ends I suppose and the eventual fall out. Sorry for being off topic.
