I have just replaced my old Canon 20d with a not quite as old 50d in truly mint condition for a very low price. At last, a screen that I can see!

Amazing how cheap good used cameras are.

Depends what your are buying Martin - I've been looking at decent compacts and it's surprising what people pay for them on ebay.

Getting a Panasonic GX9 from Santa , I've been camera-less for a few weeks after selling my GX80 . Just getting the body , I've sold three lenses and bought a 14-140 , still got a 100-300 and a 30mm macro.

I bought my wife an X-P for her birthday and we both think it's superb. I love the fact that it has three control wheels so you can select between s/speed, aperture and ISO without taking your eye off the viewfinder.

Been shooting Nikon film and digital gear since the 70's. My current camera I have used for the last 5 years is the Nikon D850. It has never disappointed me in capturing what I want. But recently I acquired this 102mp monster! Fujifilm GFX100S (no lenses yet)

Yikes - I can't imagine how much storage you will need for those files!
Congrats and enjoy.

Nice, and a very cost-effective route into digital medium format (MF). There was less choice in digital MF systems when I moved from film to digital MF and, as I was heavily invested in Hasselblad at the time (and still am), PhaseOne was the route I took. Most of the cameras are V-system although I do have one H system (actually built by Fuji) and I bought a PhaseOne back for that as well (we have 5 in total). The advantage of a back to me over a dedicated camera is versatility as we have multiple bodies, some dedicated to specialised set-ups. I can of course also still switch to film should I wish and you can fit the backs to a large format technical camera and take advantage of the control of the image plane that these give. I do have one integrated digital MF camera system (Pentax 645Z) although it is mounted permanently to an image stacking rig on a copy stand and I have never used in 'in the wild' as it were. It was bought used with virtually no shots on it with a full set of lenses and attachments for a bargain price and the 90mm macro lens is a nice optic and the camera interfaces with the stacking hardware well. If I was going to switch system I would stay with PhaseOne I think and buy into their XF system, but you are talking £60K+ for a body, back (150MP) and 2 or 3 lenses. Even their older 100MP backs cost about £15K secondhand. I too have always used Nikon SLR cameras both for work and personal use. Most of my personal shots though are taken using a range-finder camera (Leica M) and I have both film and digital bodies although I guess about 80% of my shots are done with a M10 + 35mm Summilux). Large format (technical) is either Sinar (UK) or Cambo (Germany), but for 'fun' I use either an Ebony 5x4 (45SU Ti) or a Linhof Super Technika V (I do have a Deardorf 10x8 and a Toyo 810M II, but they haven't been out for a while). Linhfof Technika V (not an electron in sight! )

Here my cameras…well most of them. The Nikon Z7ii and Z fc are my main cameras. The Df comes out occasionally and the FE needs me to get around to replacing the light seals.

My first personal SLR was a Nikon FE. I still have it too. Matched needle metering - wonderful.

Decided I'm going to put a roll of film through my Olympus Trip 35mm I bought years ago. The camera looks in very nice condition so let's see what it can do. As used by David Bailey of course ...
