Interesting fault on Rosberg's car. Gremlins indeed! Nice drive from Hamilton. With that car and newer tyres he was always going to have it and take the lead again, but had to stay cool and execute. Nice drives and racing / usual muppetry further down the field.
Fortunately I did not get to see the podium interviews this time - they are always somehow painful. I remember the Coultard one last year or the year before where Vettel swore, Coultard apologised for the language and said something like it was due to his not be native English speaking, this pee'd Vettel off somewhat, and he then poured Champagne over Couldtard's head from behind him as he interviewed 2nd or 3rd placed man! After that they were read the riot act I think, but the whole thing is a bit rubbish - mind you so were the stilted after podium race interviews in a room they had before for years and yeas...

They still do the after-podium press interviews, which often yield some interesting titbits of information as the drivers haven't fully calmed down and put their shields back in place. The podium interviews, though, are generally poor.
Jordan is in a special category where he pretty much talks bollox all the time. The man just makes me wince.

Got to hand it to Rosberg, he nailed qualy at Suzuka today. Still, if Lewis could come so close and not be 'feeling it', then there's hope for tomorrow. They're both good in wet weather, so anything could happen.
That circuit is a monster!

Best bit was EJ's comment on where will Button go - "Come and work with us on the BBC"

Well yes, everything I say is in my opinion. Are you defending him? I haven't met anyone yet who likes him.

He's an idiot, quite simple really.
(I would love to know what Alonso said to him, probably called him a f****** idiot!)

Vettel leaves Red Bull and appears to be going to Ferrari, while RB immediately recruit Kvyat. Meanwhile Alonso is 'formulating plans' but is most likely to be going to McLaren. The assumption seems to be that Button will lose his job, but what about Magnussen? Also, is Raikonnen out of contract? Musical drives galore!

Raikonnen will have to be 'released' for a nice payoff - Nice work if you can get it;)

To call EJ a tosser would be an insult to tossers everywhere! But a very rich tosser - car salesman wasn't he? This is not to insult car salesman....well, apart from saying that EJ was one of course.

A rather muted end to the Suzuka GP on account of Bianchi crashing into a crane and being taken unconscious to hospital. Nevertheless, let it not take away from a breathtaking overtake on Rosberg by Hamilton, quite one of the best of the season. Ricciardo also pulled off a couple of storming overtakes. Heart-in-mouth drives by everyone in cars way too powerful for the wet conditions. Great stuff!

A very uncomfortable feeling that a quick remark made by the commentators that Sutil is in the habit of leaving the track, this time to the great cost of another driver.
