Two for the price of one! Sanders Magtech and Music First Audio TVC (MK II) Baby Reference preamp (His latest and greatest model). You can see how much larger it is than his classic single pot model (hence the precarious platform it's balancing on lol); sorry for picture quality:

What do you think of the Sanders Magtech, Martin? By the way, it's nice to see you around again

Hi Martin, I rate it highly. It absolutely trounced my old Roksan Caspian MKII integrated amp that I owned previously. Never strains and doesn't have any obvious colouration. Might not be the best amp ever but it's fantastic for the price I got it for and is a great match for my speakers; I came home from the Melbourne hi fi show not hating my system which was a relief Funnily enough the only thing I've considered replacing it with would be the amp you've got now; I've read enough about it (including your experiences with the brand) and it's got me intrigued. Or maybe the MB 200 monoblocs. Might just be dreaming. The new preamp I've got is a lot better than what I had before; I was actually very surprised by the degree of improvement (now it's kinda burnt in). In reality probably got a few hundred more hours, I remember with my old TVC I thought it was done and then POP! It stepped up another few notches. I was worried as some people said the Magtech is dry and boring sounding and that it might sound that way with such a revealing pre in the chain but they sound a fantastic match to me. How are you doing mate? When are you getting some new speakers

I'm fine thanks! Not going to replace my speakers quite yet...
Glad the Magtech is doing it for you, there wasn't a huge amount between the Chord and the Magtech, which shows the Magtech as being good value for money, and it's a good hunk of Watts. The Belles is in my opinion a decent step up in transparency and fine detail, not to mention dynamic clout.

I was thinking of spun aluminium knobs, don't know what you were thinking of

Careful now, on some forums, a comment like that would cause people to say things like "Show him the door"

Inside my LFD PA2M (SE) - the extreme circuit tuning is obvious with the multiple capacitor & resistor styles, use of obsolete components, wiring etc. Once LFD's stock of output MOSFETs for these amps are gone, then they'll be discontinued for good (they came back after a box of MOSFETs was found): And the front: The Exposure IV sounds great, but the LFD does (and should!) notch it up.

TBH ive had it with stereos'. Decided to just buy an old 1980's Technics Amp to match the Techy cassette decks i have & be done with it..It should arrive by Saturday but this is a picture of the actual amp.. Good enough fer me, i used to have the 'SU-V4X' years ago before i got into Hi-Fi. Service & Re Cap job a good un.

Those top-hat(ish) knobs are fab Andre. Why didn't they use that shape for the volume knob too?

Dunno Chris. They used the same Volume Knob on say the RS-M229X cassette deck for recording level
