 I can't believe how happy I am with this dinky little EL84 amplifier. Easily the best sound I have had. The current 'cooking' implementation has GE 5670 input valves and JJ EL84. I have some Siemens EL84 on order.  |

I suspect it may have needed some fairly serious re-cap attention etc, but as it came it was a bit bland and I didn't feel like investing more £££ in it on the offchance that it turned out good. It was one of my more naive purchases and I sold it on at a substantial loss.  |

Here is a Colin Wonfor Calss A design I made last year. This design is quite different than the DIY ones that people are buying and making at the moment. This is a complete one off 40W design.   |

Ah, I see where you were going with the cosmetics there James - reverse psychology. That amp has just GOT to sound awesome with a beautiful personality!
