That was a great race, a real spectacle and hard to keep up with it all. What a shame Ricciardo couldn't sustain that start and stay in the lead. He deserved a podium at least and the puncture was more bad luck. Kvyat did very well and I tend to slightly side with him in the Vettel/Kvyat argument, especially as Kimi suffered the most from it. Hamilton made a great comeback to 7th considering the starting position and damage he sustained. The McLarens are going forwards while the Williams are going backwards.
Rosberg had it far too easy. I fear we're going to have to suffer the brat's smiles a lot more this year.

Ham's had a a string of bad luck which must pass although as I've said before not holding the start from pole finally came to haunt him with the dreaded shunt at turn one in Bahrain, which I sensed would happen one day. He'll need to get his groove on now. Rosberg has a very handy 36 point cushion which is a race in hand effectively. Ham's my boy though !

Still a hell of a lot of races to go yet though - 36 points at this stage may be handy, but it's nothing to worry about too much. As you say, he really needs to focus now.

Can't say I'm a fan of Lewis, but Jean is.
I'd like Jensen to have a better car so he could mix it with the fast guys.

Lewis is still my man, the last 3 races have been really difficult for him but he has appeared to stay focussed and still quick despite all of the issues. Whilst I know Rosberg is playing the political game, it is quite telling the recent interviews he has been giving where to me he has sounded rather nervous about the potential threat of Lewis...

I'm struggling seeing all this winning by Brittney! Lady luck is a fickle thing and the season is long so lets hope for a close champ fight at least and some good racing along the way.

Brittney lol, I have heard him referred to thus name before and find it quite amusing lol... Let's just hope Lewis gets some of the luck in the coming races. Think, Brittney only has to crash out of one race or have mechanical issue that put him out and it'll be a vey different situation.

Lewis said something on TV last that had me thinking. He pointed out that as a driver he has done more to promote the sport than any driver before him, or all the current drivers combined. It happens to be true, and just goes to show how much the other drivers really feel about F1. To them it is just a way to make a living. Nico himself has done nothing that I know of to promote F1. Most of these guys rush home and stay there for as long as they can, instead of being seen promoting F1.

Yep, it's getting a little rediculous isn't it!

It's hard to believe he has the same problem with the MGU-K (or was it the -H, the turbo part?) again. It's just bad luck, though, I don't believe in that conspiracy theory.
What was the outcome of the steward's enquiry for crossing the track limits?

What was the outcome of the steward's enquiry for crossing the track limits? Don't think we know the answer yet. The commentators I was listening to didn't seem too worried for Hamilton though thankfully.

He got a "stern" warning for that incident apparently, but no further action. I noticed that Lauda didn't appear in any TV interview that I saw. He tells it like he sees it when it comes to matters concerning Lewis, and that has not always been in line with what Wolff said.

Just watching qualifying now - I see some have commented already, but this is just adding to the possibility that Mercedes are favouring Rosberg this year. If this continues, I get the sense he'll be moving on for next year...

If I was in "conspiracy theory" mode, I'd expect these early setbacks to be a ploy to lengthen the odds on Hamilton so that Far East betting syndicates can place huge sums on him winning. Suddenly when it looks like Nco is a title cert, his car will fail and everybody will scoff at the earlier "conspiracy theorists". The luck will have been seen to even itself out and Hamilton will snatch a late title win in a compelling F1 season. Nobody will see any hint of a conspiracy. Other than the rich syndicate members who have walked away with huge sums, Bernie who has seen a gripping season revive F1's popularity.....oh and Mercedes who have made it look like the season wasn't simply an anointment of a favoured driver. The big fish will have again played us all

Awesome drive from Lewis and what a shame that, yet again, a mechanical issue stopped him from having a go at Rosberg. Superb drive from Grosjean again, and how good to see both McLarens finish in the points.
Kvyat is becoming the new Maldonado if he is not more careful. Vettel's reaction was priceless!

I really don't think the lead Rosberg has is as massive as some of the pundits are making out. If he had a 100 point lead rather than just having a total of 100 points, then it would be a different story. Likewise if we had 3 races to go instead of 16, it would be significant. As it is, with so many races left, it's not a massive deal.
We also have to factor in that now Mercedes are being pushed harder, their reliability is no longer bullet-proof. Even one Rosberg DNF puts Hamilton back within striking distance.
