It needs a bit of a robust character, so whether Berger would be a good choice is moot. Prost? Lauda could be excellent but I doubt they would give it to him with his links to Mercedes.

I agree Lauda would be a great choice. He's as tough as they come, he's smart and I believe he's his own man, irrespective of his links to Merc. Given his past Ferrari links, he may be acceptable to them. Most candidates will have a history of affiliations. I hope it doesn't stop them being chosen if they are the right person for the job.
Sad to say, but I really don't see Bernie vacating the role unless illness, death or coup befall him.

Ross Brawn would be my 1st choice to replace Bernie.
The sport need a man of his stature and experience.

Motogp was good well the first half, then it was a bit of a procession.

I caught the end of it in a bar in Brussels yesterday. Looked fantastic, the cornering angles defy belief.

Looked fantastic, the cornering angles defy belief. I can assure you that the cornering angles can be proven to be possible with a scientific explanation. No voodoo magic involved .

Pedrosa's crash into Dovizioso was nasty, could have been much worse for Dovi! Pedrosa's Honda was a bucking bronko under braking. Impossible to control. Honda have problems but Marquez was able to master them at one of his fav circuits Austin.

Gearbox change. I don't mind, to be honest he's at his best when trying to blast through the field.

Season seems to be going from bad to worse for Hamilton, firstly he had a gearbox change with a guaranteed 5 place jump only for him to have engine troubles in Qualifying at China resulting in him having to start from the back of the grid I know this is what he revels in but even so it is disappointing.

The team that is looking after his car this year used to be on the other side of the garage with Nico. Just pointing that out..

It's a run of bad luck. Let's see what he can do from the back. Ricciardo was a surprise, good on him!

I didn't know that, that's very interesting and quite telling if the results keep going the way they are. Rosberg is on a high, but it's a long season and a lot can change. I personally would like to see anyone win the championship other than Hamilton.

I was just listening to the interview with Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat Chrysler. He's a pretty uncompromising chap and said that the Ferrari team are on the clock to start winning. Huge pressure from just a few words and I'm sure the team will be feeling it.
