You know how you can have sex, drive, but not legally drink in the UK until you're 18?
Apparently Lance Stroll had to wait for his recent 18th birthday before taking his seat in the Williams, due to the advertising deal they have with Martini.
Two down...

I hope he's not another driver too young to bear the strain of being in F1. I have high hopes for Vandoorn but why aren't already proven drivers like Sainz being given a top drive now?

Bernie's new plan... Turn F1 into a junior feeder formula and promote Formula E as the main event!

Despite appearances, Bernie's body may not be dead yet. His brain however is another matter!

It says above: "Bernie's new plan" I was referring to the point you made that Bernie is not dead yet. Have you ever seen a picture with a shadow of him?

Bernie's new plan... Turn F1 into a junior feeder formula and promote Formula E as the main event! That wouldn't be Bernie's plan as he would not make any money out of it. It could be Jean Todd's and the FIA's plan though, as they are not exactly fans of Bernard Charles Ecclestone.

Nice pole for Hamilton under pressure yesterday, now it's the all important race day.
Fans and pundits alike have hoped for rain and guess what? It's wet out there with just over an hour to race start. Rain is going to make things very interesting. Rosberg doesnt like the rain / isnt good in the wet. Hamilton on the other hand doesnt care one jot when it rains and is just as good in the wet. It's a short mad rush to turn one where there's been more than enough drama in the past. If Hamilton can get off to another good start and avoid trouble into turn one then I reckon Rosberg may well get caught up in the usual turn one frantics. I predict a cracking race that is going to be decided at Abu Dhabi - enjoy !!!

Superb race win for Lewis today in difficult conditions. Max Verstappen though was the star of the show, some superb manoeuvres.

Lewis did everything perfectly. It's hanging by a thread, but at least the championship will be determined in the final race of the season.
Agreed that Verstappen was awesome today. Silly to have gone onto inters, otherwise he may have come 2nd today.

I normally enjoy wet races because it often gives other teams a chance to upset the dominant one. It also increases the driver input. This one was spoiled for me by delays and too much safety car "action". Not a thing you could do to avoid it though: if only you could make it rain a bit without huge deluges, eh!

The 2nd red flag was inexplicable. No wonder the Brazilian fans were getting impatient.

At least we are going into the last race with a couple of drivers in contention for the championship. Abu Dhabi will be exciting, as long as both Mercedes cars keep running.

I agree, I just hope that Lewis can somehow pull it off, he showed without doubt in Brazil that he is a lot, lot, lot better than Rosberg... and in fact, however good Max was, Lewis was someone he couldn't catch.

I know what you mean. It kind of grates that Rosberg would win the championship because of circumstances and not because he's better. I think he'll know that deep down but wont care one smidge. Being world champion will mean 'I'm no.1' to him, a big fat ego boost, 1st best and he'll love having that over Lewis within the team. I'm hoping for a miracle and that the man who's had a bunch of bad luck and dug deepest all season retains his title

The world F1 champion is the one with the most points at the end of a season, not necessarily the best driver.
Lewis has had problems of his own (like bad starts) which have not helped his campaign, and I still think his lifestyle outside of F1 has not helped.
Lets not forget how Schumacher's (M) team mates had to defer to him if they had the audacity to be in front of him, at least Rosberg and Hamilton have had equal opportunities (barring conspiracy theories).
Max's drive through the field was amazing, I still don't like him but he obviously has much talent.
Roll on the final race.
