Should be plenty of bass with those . They're like flippin snakes . The 6mm Van Damme Blue landed this morning - yup, positively pythonesque! Look forward to plumbing these bad boys in ...

If that is not big enough, I saw some 10mm cable over the weekend.

Has anyone noticed a discernible / worthwhile difference in bass weight from different speaker cables? If so, I would be interested to know which cables would be worth investigating ... When I upgraded to Naim A5 cable from my previous Cable Talk there was a noticeable difference in all areas. I was limited to the type of cable I went for due to the design of my Exposure amps so need a reasonably thick multi-strand cable which is why I chose the Naim. There was more bass weight but also greater control. But to be honest the biggest improvement was the overall improvement in openness and clarity.

10mm 2, not 10mm diameter Still very thick... The VD cable is 6mm 2 so about 2.7mm diameter or AWG 9. The 10mm 2 cable is a bit of a monster in comparison at 3.6mm diameter or AWG 7.

This is the stuff you really need - trailing power cable for a dragline excavator. 12.7 centimetre diameter - that's the stuff!

Do you need a pair for bi-wiring?

Bi-wiring jumpers would be wider than their length!

...and just a tad tricky to bend!

The best bass I ever heard, which I attributed in part to cable, was Mission. The individual wires were about as fine as human hair and the shielding was black. I heard single runs and did not feel tempted to bi-wire.
