Excellent choice Tim! 'Mainstreet' is one of those shiver down the spine tracks for me.

Clearlight Symphony - Clearlight Symphony
Just sublime. Music so wonderful you are can't believe your luck.
With some of it's roots in Gong, ex members, extending into a modern instrument symphony. One of my best ever in the world albums - essential.
Allmusic - Elaborate Hypnotic Spacey 10/10 on the Mikeometer

The Civil Wars - Unplugged They really were something weren't they Martin, such a shame they split just at the point they made it. I did manage to see them twice though This lady is playing at The Forge Martin in October.

What surprises me is even with the constant repetition I use for comparing kit/upgrades it is still a pleasure to listen to

Today is proving to be somewhat trying in locating some valves for a project I am working on, so time for some left field selections.
Kicking off this afternoon
Cascading into this rather interesting and self indulgent number Ozzric's live at the Pogmasters ball

What valves do you need, Tony? I've got bags of them in the garage. Take to PM would be best.

I may have to get me that, David. Strangely it's a hole in my collection, although I have a good few of his other albums.

You have to own it Martin, if only for 'Miles runs the voodoo down' - his retort to Jimi.......

The Civil Wars - Sour Times
A great duo covers Portishead's superb song and carries it off.
