If you have the KT 88 Yaqin I have some vey good valves still that you could try, but take your time Very kind of you to offer but the Yaqim KT88 is actually five feet deep!!!! I can't imagine anyone being able to fit it with gear by anyone else?! Eh??!? from memory I would say about 45-50cm,

WARNING ! - valve porn!
Here's my old Yaqin KT88 amp ...
It was quite small compared to the Viva valve amp.
No, not 5 feet deep. But at home, it did need a separate and rather deeper than usual shelf ...

When I wrote to them they said the new model was 60 inches deep!!!! Even if they meant centimetres it's still far too unmanageable, otherwise I would have gone for the more powerful device.

That's two orders of magnitude out in dimensions!

One person's 'unmanageable' is another's 'time for a trip to IKEA for those deeeep shelves!'
--- you didn't really believe the amp was 5 foot deep, did you?

time for a trip to IKEA for those deeeep shelves!' Why? Do Ikea sell houses? My alcove could not accept something that depth, so furniture would not have solved the problem.

Looks much better without the cage. Ask nicely on here and you'll find someone to check it over for you I'm sure.

I wrote to Yaqim the other day and politely asked them for a progress report. They gave me a right ticking off ha ha ha. It's coming on a slow boat from China.
