Would you expect the more powerful one to sound better than the smaller one at (for example) 10 watts per channel ?It will be interesting if Colin and I can get together all the Wonfor Class A amps at my place and have a bit of a bake off, then give feedback for others to be informed

What is it thermal rating C/W?? No idea.
They were out of computer UPS units.
I feel sure they are big enough.

OK lets do it the hard way give me length, width, height, fin numbers, fin depth, base thickness I will asume it a aluminium alloy. And how much does it weigh? I will calculate it for you, for a vertical use in free air at 20C. And 100mm from a base. Will that be OK?? If I can find my slide rule that is.

Right
300mm long x 200mm wide x 70mm deep. Base 10mm thick fins 60mm deep.
16 proper fins and 2 sides. 4.5KG weight each.
The CD in the picture gives an idea of the size. And yes, those capacitors are mighty big as well.

Would this case on e-Bay be any good for one for low power use? It measures 257 x 211 x 90.

Lol......will be interesting trying to get them all in a Porsche Boxster Sounds like a hairdressers car to me Trust you Mr James ! Your Ebay auction number no worky. There are a few not huge cases on there that would probably do, failing that Modushop are good. Got mine on Ebay, but didn't want the heatsinks exposed.
