few suggestions for formula 1 ,beyond scrapping it .
get beer bellied men in tight trunks to carry the numbers and greet the winners instead of women in bikins .
ban those in tax exile from using the national anthem of the country they were born and every time they are mentioned in commentary there name must be prefaced by the word Tax exile . ie - tax exile hamilton is currently in the lead
withdraw the voting rights of any driver or team principle who drives in a country with no voting rights .
take £1 of all drivers earnings for every human rights breach in any country in which there is a gp .

The whole circus that is F1 need's a shake up..... Hows about the pool of drivers names goes into a hat and drawn on race day to decide which car they must drive. Now that would be Fun and Fair. I'd love that There are enough overpaid, egoistical, pampered cry-babies in F1 to make it a spectacle just watching their faces when they drew a crap car!

I think Ferrari versus Williams will provide us with the most entertainment this year. Oh, and that whining Christian Horner who constantly throws his toys out of the pram when his team isn't winning. As Toto put it, "just get your f****** head down, work hard and try to sort it out".

I'm intrigued as to how Alonso will fare in the McLaren. Yes, the car isn't up to much (yet) but it will still put Button and Alonso into equal machinery.

He'll certainly outperform Button.

Not sure I agree with that, especially if any races are wet.

Every time Alonso blamed a team for not supporting him properly he soon left, and that team then started to do a lot better. I would say that the problems at Ferrari were caused by Alonso in part. Look how well they are doing now.
Nico didn't help his cause by trying to block Lewis today on the last qualifying lap.

Nico didn't help his cause by trying to block Lewis today on the last qualifying lap. Ummm, my understanding was it was Hamilton who blocked Rosberg and not as you have suggested. Furthermore, Button out performed Alonso which correlates with my own predictions. Early days.....we shall see how it works out in due course.

We are both talking about the same qualifying race yesterday, aren't we? See www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/32100371 for a write up n the incident.

Well....there's a turn up for the books, to be honest i didn't see that coming, even though they were fast, i thought the Ferrari would blow something and Lewis would prevail, i wonder how much was down to Vettle's input to the team?, i don't buy into the fact the new head man should take all the credit.

So Vettel appears to have come of age at Ferrari, Alonso must be kicking himself irrespective of what he says!
Lewis looks like he has a serious upper hand at Mercedes, Nico sound defeated already and it's only the third race weekend.
Also Vs Button could be interesting, I have never rated Alonso as much as a lot of people do.
Raikkon, well if he can keep interested this could be a good year for him
Oh and back to McLaren, WTF 5 secs a lap behind in Melbourne, that's going to be a nightmare to catch up and from what could/should be a great combo of McLaren and Honda, looking back to the 80s.

It's great to see the Ferraris and Williams mixing it up in Q3 today. Interesting that although Nico came back at Hamilton in his final run, he still sounded beaten in response to his good time. He's losing the psychological battle. Hamilton did everything he needed to get his Pole for tomorrow.

Yup Lewis has the edge at the moment over Nico in both ability (although I'd argue he always has been a stronger driver overall) but also psychologically which in F1 can be the difference between winning and losing.
Ferrari are certainly up there although don't wuite look like they're going to beat Mercedes at this race!

Lol so Lewis beats Nico fair and square, so Nico moans about him backing him up towards Vettel... Nico grow a pair of balls and start trying to get past the psychological games Lewis is successfully playing on you!!!!
At this rate it is going to be a run away championship for Lewis unless Vettel and Ferarri can close the gap on them like at Malaysia.

Nico is becoming the new Vettel (and Vettel is becoming incrementally more likeable). He whinges and whines when the only person he should be blaming is himself, for not being as fast as Lewis. I'm actually enjoying the Ferraris starting to give real competition, and would love to see Raikkonen get a podium or two this season.

I'm starting to really dislike Rosberg, his constant whining is wearing thin - even if his points were valid (which they aren't) he's coming across as a very bad sportsman. Talk about pot, kettle, black too!
I'm not a fan per se of Hamilton, but his skills behind the wheel speak for themselves - suck it up Nico, Lewis is faster than you.
