Really sorry to hear about Snoopy.
Dogs that you spend a lot of time with are so special and they learn so much and know everything.
It's really good that you and your son where with him at the end rather than leaving him alone with the vet.

Yup, that's a stonkingly detailed shot. Ditto Mark, long time no speak! Treat yourself to a pixel 3 when they are available it is sure to be even better.

. I've heard that the Google Pixel XL 2 takes the best photos but I've not seen it. I bought my wife a Pixel 2 a while ago, costs a lot for an Android phone but they are excellent.
The default google HDR+ picture mode is really good.
A recent photo my wife took when we arrived back from holiday at 03:00 AM, very late....
One of those annoying times when an aircraft stops away from the terminal and you have to get on a bus.
In real life there was hardly any light at all. The foreground was dark with dim lighting and the concrete was only lit with lights from the bus we where stood on.
picture taken from the open bus door as we waited for the last few stragglers.
Look at the picture in large size on Flickr and look at the detail inside the aircraft front door and windows and the black sky.
This is straight from the phone, no sharpening or noise reduction or anything.
Looking forward to seeing what Google do next with the Pixel 3

Mix a mammoth organisation with a huge consultant, add in Guvmunt insisting on money being saved and we have all of that. My mate Andy does this sort of thing. He would have sorted them out Your mate Andy would be tripped up by red tape every time he tried to move

Definately John The finished speakers should look something like these I have just bought the EXTREMELY rare Isophon tweeter, they basically never come up for sale, I have been looking constantly for at least two years, but just hit the jackpot. I quickly put them in my Lampizator P17s and really enjoying them. I have the other drivers but not the Tesla 15" bass driver, but they are £600 delivered and I'm struggling to justify that at the moment. Your recormendation John are about £520 delivered plus the price of a DSP digital amp, but we shall see what happens. What sort of date is good for you mate? They Look fantastic and good use of kitchen worktops

Looking forward to seeing what they release My very first phone was a Nokia back in the old days when I was lucky to find any coverage at all in the north and I stuck with them for years but they fell by the wayside. ideally to get back on track Nokia need something with the very best camera, great Nokia build quality and clean Android without any bloat. Like a Motorola G4 but with a great camera and Nokia build.

I've just remembered that I purchased a copy of Canon Digital Photo Professional ver 1.5 some time ago, and it's still unopened. Anyone had any experience of this ? I use a Canon EOS40d. Purchased, it should have been included for free with your camera? The more recent versions are good and free as long as you have an original disc so it can check you have the disc as it installs, no where near as useful as Photoshop but OK for simple stuff. www.canon.co.uk/support/camera_software/#eosdpp

On the subject of putting the heating on, does anyone know anything about electric heaters? We have cheap convectors wall mounted in every room. We are about to install a 8kw log burner stove in the living room, which in a very well insulated house is going to be doing most of the work. The very nice man in Mr bricolage keeps talking to me sincerely about how my fuel bills will reduce with better (clay heating) devices but surely this is well meaning bollocks. Energy tries to change to a more chaotic state (2nd law of thermodynamics), heat is the most chaotic state, and any resistor in any electric heater converts 100% of the electricity to heat. Ignoring storage heaters and multirate tariffs, they must all cost the same. Or have I missed something? I fancy changing to oil filled radiators since they can be covered (dry my ski kit) but that's it. More expensive clay filled ones cannot save energy The only way to heat with electric and get more heat out than you put in with electric is to use an air conditioning unit in heat pump mode. The more recent and energy efficient models have a COP efficiency of more than 4, that means that for every 1kw of electric used you get about 4kw of heat. It's not magic, the heat is drawn from the heat in the atmosphere outside, even when it is really cold outside. Best brand is Daikin, I have installed hundreds of them and we have a few at home that have been heating and cooling for nearly 10 years and have never gone faulty.

Ideally needs a white brush strip plate to cover it, unless the hole that has been cut is larger than a UK socket faceplate size.

Thanks for the help.
The problem is that it only ever happens on this forum which suggests to me that ProBoards are hosting it and sending it to my phone as soon as the 'recent' link is clicked on.
Clive has had this as well so it's not just me.
I just wont visit from my phone any more, our desktop PC's are secure as possible and ablocked because of crap like this, no wonder everyone blocks all the adverts these days.

3 times in the last week while looking at this forum on my Android phone an HTC one M7 there have been new windows opened and buttons disabled on my phone by this virus/scam to prevent me from closing it. Screen grabs taken this morning when it happened again: the first event: then: then: - The back button on my phone is disabled by this, the only way out is to power down my phone and hope it has not been infected by this. I am now wary of using my phone as it is used for online banking and paypal payments and now I may have a virus because of proboards. I don't mind adverts but this is just a scam attempt as there is no way anyone will send me a free iphone 7 This needs resolving ASAP.
